ROSEMONT, Ill. (FinalCall.com) – God desires to produce a new people who are living manifestations of His will, wisdom and power, said the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan in an Aug. 22 message delivered at the Rosemont Convention Center.
Min. Farrakhan was speaking to laborers in the Nation of Islam who assembled for three days of training and discussion. His Sunday morning address closed the meeting and was also available globally via Internet webcast.
After suffering grave afflictions caused by White mistreatment, Black people are not filled with hatred, bitterness and the spirit of revenge, Min. Farrakhan noted. Blacks turn to God for answers and relief from pain, he said.
Out of a decimated people living in America who have been tried in the furnace of affliction would come a new people to establish equity and justice for all people regardless of class, color or creed, and would be perfect manifestations of His will, said the Minister.
Black people who have been reduced to nothing are the material that the one prophesied to come at the end of time would use to build the kingdom of God, said Min. Farrakhan.
“He wants to make a nation of gods that have the intelligence and the skill to say ‘Be!’ ” Min. Farrakhan continued. “To organize their gifts skills and talents and resources with a plan and bring what they envision into existence–not for vanity. God is not raising us to be selfish and vain.”
Another impediment to human progress is seeking material things while neglecting spiritual development though material acquisitions demonstrate a certain degree of success, said Min. Farrakhan.
“The Bible says, what does it profit a man who gains the whole world and loses his soul? So nothing is more important than the spiritual reality of the human being. If the life force is resurrected and cleared of debris, then people can focus on what is proper, right and natural to be focused on and the material things will fall into place,” he said.
“All human beings have the potential for a much greater manifestation of power than is present in the world,” Min. Farrakhan continued.
While it is the greatest nation in the last 6,000 years, America is also the most uncivilized, said Min. Farrakhan referring to America as a “wilderness.”
“In a wilderness, things are wild and untamed and untrained and savage,” he said. Quoting his teacher, The Honorable Elijah Muhammad who taught, “Dissatisfaction brings about change,” the Minister said there is now widespread dissatisfaction with all systems that exist in the present world.
“There will never be change as long as people are satisfied with where they are, so there will always be a group of people within the human family that are dissatisfied,” said the Minister. “Out of that dissatisfied group, a leader will arise born with an idea to evolve humanity toward perfection.”
Religious people, who succumb to the wicked and carnal desires of this world will find themselves at odds with what God desires, he warned.
“Christ is a human being but he comes into the world to crush wickedness. That is a big job. He comes into the world sit down the kingdoms of this world and to make the kingdoms of this world His kingdom,” said Min. Farrakhan. “He doesn’t come to submit to governments. He respects them to the degree that they are worthy, but He comes to set up government that will guarantee complete freedom to every human being on our planet.”
Man and woman have unlimited potential and for those who are from God–since God is infinite–there is no limit to what can be accomplished, the Minister said.
“The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said the brain of the human being is infinite, so you are only limited by your lack of vision,” said Min. Farrakhan.
“If people of this world can impose on you a limited vision for yourself, then they have already limited your ability to think past their ceiling that they have applied to you. True god and true man never limit the potential of another human being. True god and true man frees the spirit of every human being to ascend to wherever that human being is able to go and create the atmosphere, the environment and the system to allow every human being to have a full and complete freedom,” he said as the audience cheered and applauded his message.
