“The hour drew nigh and the moon was rent asunder. And if they see a sign, they turn away and say: Strong enchantment. And they deny and follow their low desires; and every affair is settled. And certainly narratives have come to them, which should deter—Consummate wisdom—but warnings avail not;”—Holy Qur’an, Surah 54, verses 1-5
According to the 97th Surah entitled, Al-Qadr: The Majesty, it is believed by the Muslim scholars that the “Night of Power,” refers to a famous night in the month of Ramadan when the Holy Qur’an was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad, may the Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him. The Holy Qur’an raises the question in verse 2, “And what will make thee comprehend what the Night of Majesty is?” and continues through verses 3 to 5 to describe what the “Night of Majesty” is by revealing that it is better than a thousand months. “The angels and the Spirit descend in it by the permission of their Lord—for every affair—Peace! It is till the rising of the morning.”
According to the Holy Qur’an’s commentary by Maulana Muhammad Ali, “A thousand months may be taken as the equivalent of a very long time. Numerically, they are equal to about 83 years leaving 17 years to complete a century. There is a saying of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) according to which a mujaddid or a reformer will appear among the Muslims at the commencement of every century. The Lailat Al-Qadr being a time of great spiritual blessings may also signify the time during which the Prophet worked in person being actually a period of twenty-three years, or the time during which a mujaddid would ordinarily work, which period is more blessed spiritually than the rest of the century.
If we take this number 97 and prefix it by the number 18, we get the date 1897 which corresponds to the exact birth date of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad on October 7 in that year. Counting forward into the 20th century, each date or year given is prefixed by the number 19 which gives us a calendar reading of the most important events transpiring in the birth of the Lost-Found Nation of Islam in America revealing that the “Night of Power” in the month of Ramadan represents a more powerful event than just receiving the Revelation of the Holy Qur’an.
It is really the night when Allah makes Himself Present or Known among the people during that time. In this instance, the “Night of Power, is actually corresponding to the Person of God Himself who comes and breaks the darkness of Yacob’s civilization and Satan’s rule. God raises a servant on the “Night of Majesty” as the first begotten of his dead nation who are to return to the Path of Almighty God, Allah, and be revived through the Revelation of the Holy Qur’an into perfect Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding of the Book. All the prophets’ predictions have been fulfilled ending a long Night of Darkness and Ignorance. God would come in Person to deliver his people from the throws of Satan’s world. A people who lived in darkness have now seen a Great Light shining from the East even unto the West as the Coming of the Son of Man.
This is the Universal Teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad who was born in 1897 to bring the people and nations and entire world face to face with God Himself. His mission is not as a prophet and their prophecies, but as a Messenger raised by God from the dead to warn the people about the end times. After 34 years of his birth, he met with that Majestic One, Almighty God, Allah, on the “Night of Majesty,” on the “Night of Power,” in 1931 and the Foundation Cornerstone was laid for the establishment of a whole New World Order of Islam in the Resurrection of a blind, deaf and dumb people taken from among the ex-slaves of America who become the “Saviours” of the entire world.
We fast the month of Ramadan, completing 30 days, and rejoice in the breaking of the Eid ‘feast’ because in 1930, the Great Master and Mahdi, W. Fard Muhammad, appeared in Person among us to show us the way out of Satan’s corrupt world into the beginning of a New World.
In Surah 89, entitled: Al-Fajr: The Day Break, we read—“By the daybreak! And the Ten nights! And the Even and the Odd! And the night when it departs! Truly in this is an oath for men of understanding.” These Ten nights represent a one thousand year setback to the onward march of Islam in the fullness of Truth until the Daybreak or Dawn of the twentieth century when God, Himself, appeared in Person and raised from the mentally dead his Servant, “Messiah” from the Lost-Found people of Islam who are to become the heirs of Christ and His New World Kingdom of Peace—Peace it is till therising of the morning of the seventh thousandth millennium reign of Christ.
The commentary to these verses, as given by Maulana Muhammad Ali, mentions a possible reference to the last ten nights of Ramadan and the “Night of Power” when God Himself will appear out of the Book (The Qur’an), holding the book, the Holy Qur’an in his hands and teaches the Knowledge of the book, and the Supreme Wisdom that had never been revealed before.
Finally, Surah 70, entitled The Ways of Ascent, speak of the chastisement to befall the nations in these words: “A questioner asks about the chastisement to befall the Disbelievers—there is none to avert it—From Allah Lord of the Ways of Ascent; to Him ascend the angels and the Spirit in a day the measure of which is fifty thousand years.” This period of fifty thousand years refers to the time of the fall of the people of God under the name Shabazz. In all these periods of thousands of years, we are given time sequences that have now been completed and Almighty God, Allah, is in Charge. With this information, we have now celebrated 84 years since our Nation of Islam’s Founding and Birth in 1930 and have completed yet another sequel in the “Night of Power” in the sacred month of Ramadan. Ramadan Mubarak!
What can we expect to take place on our planet in this end time but the actual end itself?
“So turn away from them. On the day when the Inviter invites them to a hard task—Their eyes cast down, they will go forth from their graves as if they were scattered locusts, Hastening to the Inviter. The disbelievers will say: This is a hard day!”—Holy Qur’an, Surah 54, verses 6-8
