JABRIL.MUHAMMAD
In the Bible we can read: “… you are a chosen … people; that you should show forth the praises of Him Who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light … .”
1 Peter 2:9, 10

In the book Closing The Gap: Inner Views of the Heart, Mind & Soul of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan we can read:
What would we have thought of this great Prophet of Allah, if we were there when Abraham was about to kill his son? How could we know that this that appeared so unjustified–even outright evil–was of God Himself ? What would have convinced us that Abraham’s act involved the highest kind of righteousness and that his acts had a bearing on this, our day?
Suppose Abraham told you that God stopped him just when he was about to plunge the knife into his son. Would his acts have produced a gap between you and him? What would close it?
This may remind us of lessons in the Holy Qur’an’s narrative of Moses and the Wise man. (Surah 18, section 9 and 10).
Some have written that at a certain point Abraham’s son knew that he was to be sacrificed by his father. According to the 22nd chapter of Genesis, Abraham tied up his son and placed him on an altar, which he built. It would seem that his son had to know what was up by that time, even though at one point he asked his father what was going to be used for the sacrifice.
Some have written that Satan appeared to the boy and tried to get him to rebel on his father. He turned Satan down. It’s beyond this article’s purpose to get into that. Nor will I get into whether this son was Ishmael or Isaac. One day, I hope to take up these issues, as they are related to the current world situation.
History teaches that whenever Allah raised a man to elevate the people, the devil always sought to destroy that work through all forms of deception, evil suggestions, intimidation, inquisitions, threats and the like.
The Holy Qur’an states: “… We never sent a messenger or a prophet before thee but when he desired, the devil made a suggestion respecting his desire; but Allah annuls that which the devil casts, then does Allah establish His messages.
“… He [makes] what the devil casts a trial for those in whose hearts is a disease and the hard hearted. And surely the wrong doers are in severe opposition.
“And that those who have been given knowledge may know that it is the Truth from thy Lord, so they should believe in it that their hearts may be lowly before Him. And surely Allah is the Guide of those who believe, into a right path.
“… those who disbelieve will not cease to be in doubt concerning it, until the Hour overtakes them suddenly, or there comes to them the chastisement of a destructive day. The kingdom on that day is Allah’s.” (22:52-56)
God and Satan must do what each must do. It’s incumbent on Allah to establish His truth and create His new world. Likewise, Satan must do his best to oppose Him by keeping his science of tricks and lies in force as long as he can. However, Allah will thoroughly defeat Satan.
Now, the Holy Qur’an teaches that one day, when Abraham’s son was old enough to work with him, he told his son that he had received a divine order that he must sacrifice him. His son told his father to do as he was commanded. He told his father that with Allah’s help he would be found patient and constant under trial.
The next day, as Abraham was about to slay his son, Allah stopped him and told him, at the last moment, saying that he had fulfilled the vision. Their lives were prophetic.
What vision? In several places in the scriptures we read of a vision that will be fulfilled at the end of time. It involves the establishment of a nation, by God Himself, right here in America, called the Kingdom of God. It’s happening now.
The 11th chapter of the book of Daniel describes those who will exalt themselves to seek to fulfill this vision. They will fail, but will yet serve the divine cause.
This next section of the May 1st interview with the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is short but very powerful, as it takes us closer to the root of what explains all things.
Brother Jabril: The wise man did things that were guided by God that looked evil despite how righteous these acts were.
Now, it looked like wicked leaders, these hirelings, you spoke about the woman with two husbands and they were bad to her and now comes along a good man, and in words, she sees him in the light of this bad experience. Since so many of us, even in the Nation, are engulfed with that problem, what are some of the keys to overcoming that kind of hasty judgment?
Minister Farrakhan: Evi-dently there is not too much you can do about it, because the people are naturally inclined this way because of circumstances and events in their lives as a result of which they have become this way. So it is only in being what they’ve become and acting out their doubt and suspicion that allows them to overcome it when greater knowledge and understanding is given, other than that they remain as they are. They can’t help themselves. And that’s why he could say, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.”
Brother Jabril: He had to have a profound understanding of their condition to tolerate, not just love, but to love in–
Minister Farrakhan: In a profound love, which gave him the profound understanding of their condition. Other than that there’s no way.
Brother Jabril: No way.
Minister Farrakhan: No. And you know I can’t say that I understood. But it was my love of our people and my suffering with them that God allowed me to come to understand why we are like we are.
Ponder his words with great care and study the words below.
As things darken up let’s heed the Qur’an’s warnings. “And surely this your community is one community, and I am your Lord, so keep your duty to Me. But they became divided into sects, each party rejoicing in that which was with them.” (23:52, 53)
“And say to My servants that they speak what is best. Surely the devil sows dissensions among them.” (17:53)
“… and dispute not one with another, lest you get weak-hearted and your power depart …” (8:46)
“In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn, from the evil of that which he has created, and from the evil of intense darkness, when it comes, and from the evil of those who cast (evil suggestions) in firm resolutions, and from the evil of the envier when he envies.” (Surah 113).
More next issue, Allah willing.
