Muslim women from the Nation of Islam strive to make their communities safe and decent places to live by assisting people who need a helping hand. In Chicago MGT (Muslim Girls Training and General Civilization Class) from Mosque Maryam recently prepared free meals at The Foodie’s Spot restaurant. The meals were distributed to the community after a Sunday service. The free meal program has been in existence for many years. In Philadelphia and Pensacola, Fla., the sisters participated in recent food, clothing and essential items distribution to community residents.
