“Say: Who gives you sustenance from the heavens and the earth, or who controls the hearing and the sight, and who brings forth the living from the dead, and brings forth the dead from the living? And who regulates the affair? They will say: Allah. Say then: Will you not then guard against evil? Such then is Allah, your true Lord. And what is there after the truth but error? How then are you turned away! Thus does the word of thy Lord prove true against those who transgress that they believe not.”
–Holy Qur’an, Surah 10, verses 31-33

Why is the attention of the entire world being focused on a Black star of such eminence and genius in life and now in death? What is the condition that produces genius? It is brought about by the intensity of thought and action to achieve an objective that is greater than one’s self and which emanates to embrace the whole of humanity guiding us to an evolutionary step that leads to perfection. Always, life is sacrificed in this process. Things don’t just happen by chance or accident. We are all born with purpose and meaning and it is our environment that molds and shapes us in fulfilling our destiny. When it is time for us to make our transition into eternity, we leave behind for others to inherit our work, gifts, and our deeds. We can most certainly say this of musical icons, rock artists, stars and entertainers as well as all the millions and billions of lives and souls that have come to be throughout the countless ages of life on our planet.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad has taught us that our histories (referring to the Black nation), are written in the stars. In other words, we begin and end as star-stuff or material gathered from cosmic origins and distilled back to the earth in the essence of dust to produce our biological creation. The man in the mirror is much like the man on the moon as the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, has made his transition and is best reflecting his eternity. Now I quote from the King James Version of the Holy Bible the following from I Corinthians 13:1-13: “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. … Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. … When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.”

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us that thought never dies. He did not say this of the physical body when it stops breathing and when once interred in the earth ceases the life beat we once knew in that particular body. Where does thought go and in what form does it remain that it will never die? Our whole body is made up of layers and layers of thought that we can only describe as inter-dimensional thought waves or vibrations that holds the tissue cells, blood and organs intelligently together by the power of the brain. With the vital life force or energy that is required to sustain us, we become integrated into our ecological environments, enabling us to move into action. When the process of deterioration sets in, our thoughts are continuously active and creative sending out electrical impulses and vibrations that are forming other material realities and parallel universes prior to the expiration of our physical existence. Depending upon how strong the thought is, it has the power to materialize our thinking while we yet live or after we die.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad teaches us that far back in the distant past, our god-scientists would only will matter such as stars into existence, and certainly over a few thousand, millions or trillions of years way beyond their individual life span, such a phenomenon as stars or constellations would appear lighting up our dark universe. The total realm of our universe was created from the power of thought. If we dare to stretch our imagination and our dreams and become like little children without adult intervention and only supervision, we would be able to create worlds after worlds beyond our present moment of time as our fore-parents, descendents from the ancient circle of the gods did. In the beginning in our early childhood, we all learned this popular nursery rhyme, “Twinkle, Twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are, Up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky. Twinkle, Twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are.” We are all the mirror reflection of some distant star or star system of the cosmic order of things. This is truly our life and our death and our renewal calculated on this process of converting cosmic matter to earth that makes up our DNA and genetic coding.

This is how thought never dies. It continues to reproduce itself into eternity. Michael Jackson was indeed one of those geniuses and magical star children (some might say an Indigo or Crystal child phenomenon), that was called back home to the source of life of Almighty God Allah. May Allah be pleased with him. I acknowledge the great tribute to his family and the Jackson 5, the pointed pentagon of genius and success that will live in our hearts forever.

“Say: Is there any of your associate-gods who guides to the Truth? Say: Allah guides to the Truth. Is He then Who guides to the Truth more worthy to be followed, or he who finds not the way unless he is guided? What is the matter with you? How do you judge? And most of them follow naught but conjecture. Surely conjecture will not avail aught against the Truth. Truly Allah is Knower of what they do.” –Holy Qur’an, Surah 10, verses 35-36
