Over the past year, since President Donald Trump has been back in office serving his second term, there has been panic, anger, and concern about slashes and cuts to government safety-net programs, the dismantling of “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI) programs, the uptick in unemployment, the “white-washing” of Black history in schools, and much more.

Despite our over 400-year sojourn in America, our civil rights brothers and sisters’ tireless pursuit of integration into what the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. described as “a burning house” is increasingly futile with each passing day.

The U.S. economy is on the decline, at least for most of the population who are not wealthy, which includes the majority of Blacks, Latinos, and Indigenous populations.

The recent job numbers released in March by the U.S. government show that the unemployment rate for Black people is 7.1%. Much has been written about the reported 300,000 Black women who have lost jobs, many because of the DEI dismantling.

According to the Economic Policy Institute, “The Trump administration’s attacks on federal workers and DEI reveal its lack of concern for closing labor market disparities;

It is not surprising that the aggregate increase in unemployment masks large differences in impact across racial groups. Black workers saw the worst of the labor market slowdown through 2025, with college-educated Black women particularly impacted by job losses.”

The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities noted, in an article from August 2025, that there is a “triple threat to Black households’ economic well-being” being implemented by the current administration, including:

The elimination of food assistance and health benefits, the cutting of the federal workforce, and the current tariffs, which are leading to rising prices among other fallout.

“Taken together, this agenda hurts low- and moderate-income people, families, and communities of all races and Black people, families, and communities especially,” noted the center on its website, cbpp.org.

However, all that we see unfolding right before our eyes was prophesied and taught for decades by the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. Like ancient empires such as Babylon and Rome, America’s time is at hand, so teaches the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

In His book, “The Fall of America,” in the chapter, “The Troubled America: No Peace,” the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad writes in part, “America, in trying to hold her place as the greatest power among nations of earth, is one of the most troubled countries on earth today.”

Today, others are also seeing the writing on the wall.

“America is approaching its 250th birthday. That is no small achievement. Empires rarely last that long. It has been a remarkable run. But longevity doesn’t guarantee vitality.

What once powered American dominance—productive labor, demographic confidence, institutional trust, and cultural gravity—is steadily eroding,” wrote John Mac Ghlionn in an opinion piece published January 2, on The Hill, titled, “The American empire has entered its final act.”

A recent poll conducted by the University of Massachusetts Amherst revealed that fewer than one-quarter of Americans view the U.S. economy in a positive light and the nation heading in the right direction.

The poll surveyed 1,000 people of various backgrounds and was conducted in March. Sixty-five percent of those surveyed also said the country “is on the wrong track” which was an increase from 59% from July 2025.

There is an old adage that says, “When America gets or catches a cold, Black people get or catch the flu or pneumonia.” However, we have a Supreme Physician who has given us a Divine, spiritual medicine and teaching to prepare us in the midst of the fall and unraveling of a great nation.

The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad not only warned us from Almighty God (Allah), Who Came in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, of what was to come, but He also gave us the blueprint for what Black people must do to survive the fall.

Read, digest and study the wisdom outlined in the books of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, including “Message to the Blackman in America,” “The Fall of America,” and “Our Saviour Has Arrived.”

If we view it properly, what is unfolding can be seen as a blessing. The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and his National Representative, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, have taught us of the “old world going out and a new world coming in.”

As the wicked world of the Caucasian continues to crumble and erode, the opposition to our success and rise will increase. However, the plans of our 400-year-old enemy will fail, as taught by the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

In a message delivered on April 30, 2016, titled “Let Us Make Man: Uplifting Our Black and Hispanic Young Men,” Minister Farrakhan posed the question of why White people are in such opposition to the upliftment, resurrection and success of the Original Man.

“Why are they opposed to our rise?  Because the rise of the Black man means the fall of the White man—so he must keep you down in order for him to stay up,” he said. Minister Farrakhan continued, stating, “So, God has come to break that all the way up; no matter what kind of power he has, the White Man will never be able to stop our rise.”

The fall of America, as taught by the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, is upon us. However, we do not have to go down with it. Hold fast to the rope of Allah (God) and take heed to the Divine Wisdom and Teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, for these Divine Men hold the keys to our salvation. We would all be wise to pay attention, study and work for the rise of our people.
