In honor of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s 127th Birth Anniversary, observed and commemorated on October 7, men, women and children of the Nation of Islam in cities around the country participated in a day of reflection and service.

From North to South, East to West, the Muslim followers of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, under the leadership and example of His National Representative, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, distributed food, hygiene kits, water and clothing items to people in need.

Earlier that morning at 5:00 a.m. CDT, a National Prayer Service was held from N.O.I. headquarters that was broadcast online to thank Allah (God) for Coming in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad and for raising up for Black people and for humanity.

The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. The prayer service was led by Student National Imam Sultan Rahman Muhammad and Student Minister Daniel Muhammad.

“We are blessed and highly favored today to bring to us a beautiful prayer of remembrance, of gratitude and of thanks,” said Student Imam Sultan before reciting from the Holy Qur’an, Surah (Chapter) 1, Al-Fatiha; Surah 14 Ibrahim, verse 1; Surah 2 (Al-Baqarah) verses 151-152 and Surah 9 (Al-Baraat) verse 33.
