Believers and guests attended Nation of Islam mosques and study groups across the country to hear part 2 of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s Saviours’ Day 2026 message, delivered through his National Assistant, Student Minister Ishmael Muhammad, on March 1.
The message, titled “We Must Make Our Community a Decent and Safe Place to Live,” Part 2, streamed via webcast from the Nation’s flagship mosque and headquarters, Mosque Maryam in Chicago.
Christ, Mahdi and Messiah
Student Minister Ishmael reflected on the words the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, National Representative of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, shared during the Saviours’ Day 2026 keynote address on Feb. 22 in Detroit.
“The Minister came to be with us to honor our Saviour,” Student Minister Ishmael said, referring to Master W. Fard Muhammad, Allah (God) in Person, The Great Mahdi and founder of the Nation of Islam, Who was born on February 26, 1877.
Student Minister Ishmael made it clear that, that day on Feb. 22 was guided directly by Allah (God). “He (Allah) introduced the subject: His Minister. He wanted His Minister to be reintroduced to the world. Why? Because He’s about to do something with His Minister, with His servant, that’s going to make every knee bow and every tongue confess,” Student Minister Ishmael said.

On the stage that day in Detroit was overwhelming love, as Minister Farrakhan emerged from the stage curtains, mounted the rostrum and shared words about Student Minister Ishmael, a son of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and his wife, Mother Tynnetta Muhammad, Mother of the Faithful.
“Reciprocal love was on full display: the love of a teacher for his student; the love of the Minister for his teacher, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and a son of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad;
The son’s love for his father (the Honorable Elijah Muhammad); the son’s love for the choice of his father in the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, to sit in his seat in his absence as a father over the house,” Student Minister Ishmael said.
He also made plain what Feb. 22 was and what it was not. It was not a passing of the torch from Minister Farrakhan to himself, nor was it an act of succession or a transfer of title or office, he explained.
“There’s no such thing called succession from Christ, Mahdi, Messiah,” Student Minister Ishmael said, emphasizing his role as “assistant” in helping and supporting Minister Farrakhan in his duty.

“The primary aspect of the work and duty of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is to represent his teacher, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and the God Who raised him, Master Fard Muhammad, to spread the Teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and he has done that very well.
So, any of us that come to this endeavor are nothing more than helpers in the mission of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad,” he said. “The seat of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is nontransferable! The title ‘Christ,’ the title ‘Mahdi,’ the title ‘Messiah,’ are nontransferable!”
Student Minister Ishmael described the Nation of Islam as divine, being led directly by the Supreme Being, Master Fard Muhammad, Who made the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan witnesses of Himself.
Who is able to make war with the beast?
Student Minister Ishmael pointed out that many talk Jesus and Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) today, but at the time the two were alive, it was not popular to be associated with them, and the word of these two men of God did not begin to live in the people until their deaths.

Now, Allah (God) has given to the world, in the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, one who walks in the shoes of Jesus, one who has the same enemies as Jesus, and one who is mocked, slandered, and defamed.
He also described Minister Farrakhan as that lamb from the Bible who makes war with the beast.
“God wants something to be said. He wants us to be witnesses of His man, and the events that have jumped off this week, right after Saviours’ Day, should tell us,” he said, referring to the U.S. government and Israel’s unprovoked attack on Iran.
He linked the present-day events to the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s More-Than-A-Vision-Like Experience on Sept. 17, 1985, when the Minister was taken up to the Wheel (Mother Plane), referred to by the U.S. government as an unidentified aerial phenomenon and referenced in the Bible’s Book of Revelations as the New Jerusalem, a city in the sky.
In telling the world what he witnessed during his experience on the Wheel, Minister Farrakhan heard the voice of his teacher, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

“The Honorable Elijah Muhammad told Minister Farrakhan that the president, at that time it was (Ronald) Reagan, had met with the Joint Chiefs of Staff in early September (1985) to plan a war.
And ‘I want you to hold a press conference in Washington, D.C., and make known their plans, … and tell them you got it from me, Elijah Muhammad, on the Wheel,’” Student Minister Ishmael recounted, sharing Minister Farrakhan’s words.
News articles in early 1987 verified the truth of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s words to Minister Farrakhan: that the U.S. planned to invade Libya in 1985 and that then-president Ronald Reagan had met with top generals in early September. Over time, Minister Farrakhan learned that the war was a war on two fronts.
“It was a war … on Islamic Muslim nations in the East, and every president from Reagan to President Trump has had a conflict with an Islamic nation in the East. At the same time, the war on the other front of the United States government has been and is against Black people, Black youth in particular, the Nation of Islam and Minister Louis Farrakhan,” Student Minister Ishmael said.

Minister Abdul Haleem Muhammad
He pointed out seven Muslim countries that became targets of the U.S. government: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Iran. “Iraq, dismantled. Syria, dismantled. Lebanon, it is what it is. Libya, a failed state. Somalia, Sudan, they’re fighting now. But the last is Iran, and they are engaged right now in bombing Iran,” he said.
“We’re at the end of this satanic world. We’re at the end of what Elijah Muhammad told Minister Farrakhan on the Wheel about the war. It’s culminating now,” he added. “We are living in the time of great trouble, the time of the end of a civilization and the birth and the beginning of a new civilization.”
Making our communities decent and safe
Student Minister Ishmael focused the second part of his March 1 message on the state of the Black community, including the lack of true education, the way Black people treat one another and treat Black women and the senseless violence and death.
He explained how the enemies of Black people did everything they could to block light from entering the mind and how Black people have been robbed of the knowledge of their own history.
“We must make our community a decent and safe place to live. It is on our shoulders. Nobody else,” he said. “We who live here, we who grew up here, we who suffer from the condition of our own community, we must make the change and accept divine responsibility.”

“How the hell can we make our community safe if we don’t look to God and agree to strive to live according to His law, because His law makes us safe,” he added.
He emphasized the importance of instilling discipline in the Black community, along with values and self-love, to foster dignity and self-respect. “Allah says in the Qur’an that He will never change the condition of a people until the people change their own condition,” Student Minister Ishmael said.
“A whole new thought pattern has to come. A whole new way of thinking has to be introduced in the Black community. … We have to change our habits. We have to change our lifestyle. We have to change the way we live our lives.”
The March 1 program was a continuation of the Saviours’ Day spirit, with opening remarks from Nation of Islam Student 7th Regional Minister Patrick Muhammad, Student Southwest Regional Minister Abdul Haleem Muhammad.
Student Eastern Regional Minister Brother Arthur Muhammad, Detroit Student Minister Troy Muhammad, Student Minister Daniel Muhammad in Chicago and Sister Ziona Muhammad, a student in the ministry class in Chicago.
They spoke on the Islamic Holy Month of Ramadan and the importance of remembering Allah (God) and feeding on the Holy Qur’an, the Teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the guidance of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

“It is a joyous occasion, because we are celebrating the One Who came, the One who sought to save us, the Black, Original people of this Earth, who are the bottom of civilization, to pick us up and place us on top of civilization.
We are continuing our celebration of this mighty One, establishing the kingdom of God, establishing a universal government of peace wherein we all can live and peace together. The One I am speaking of is none other than our Saviour, Master Fard Muhammad,” Sister Ziona said.
“Master Fard Muhammad made the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan as examples for us to emulate; beautiful examples of the strength, courageousness and power we can all have by the permission and will of Allah. So, we thank Allah, The Creator, for our Saviour Whom we celebrate. Happy Saviours’ Day!”
