A sister provides hand warmers to a resident in St. Louis.

ST. LOUIS—The M.G.T. and G.C.C. (Muslim Girls Training and General Civilization Class, the women of the Nation of Islam) from Muhammad Mosque No. 28 in St. Louis, Missouri, recently conducted a day of outreach with compassion, purpose, and disciplined service.

As winter approaches and temperatures are expected to drop, the M.G.T. organized an outreach effort to distribute hand warmers to the unhoused—those most vulnerable to the harsh realities of the cold season.

Accompanied by the F.O.I. (Fruit of Islam, the men of the Nation of Islam), the M.G.T. moved with dignity and sincere concern, offering not only hand warmers but also warmth of spirit, kind words, and a reminder that the underserved are not forgotten. Their presence was met with heartfelt thanks and genuine appreciation from men and women living without shelter.

The brothers and sisters of Mosque No. 28 were striving hard to reflect the Teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad under the example of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, in service to our communities and making them safe and decent places to live.
