A Special Helper, A Special Responsibility In A Divine Mission

“And your Lord says: Pray to Me, I will answer you. Those who disdain My service will surely enter hell, abased.”  –Holy Qur’an 40:60

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad first met his Teacher, God in Person, Master Fard Muhammad, Who gave and prepared him for his assignment. He also knew, among his helpers, a specific brother would be his greatest helper. Some years would pass before he would actually meet him, in person. That person, of course, is the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan known the world over.

In The Final Call, I’ve given my column the title, Farrakhan: The Traveler. I’ve explained why I gave my column that title. It is part of my witness of the identity and the divine mission of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

I ended my last article with these words of Minister Farrakhan and a few of my words. He said, “As I said, I was a little frightened because he seemed to know what I was thinking. But looking back I see that he literally gave me my assignment the first day that he laid eyes on me.”

I ended with: “He’s right. He was expecting him when he met God and (the Honorable Elijah Muhammad) was given his assignment in the 1930s!”

I was responding to the significance of his words.

I was saying to the readers that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad immediately recognized that Minister Farrakhan was the man he was looking for. That was in February 1955. In a Saviour’s Day meeting in 1954, he mentioned his need for a special helper, in front of his audience. Of course, he knew he had to prepare that brother.

I began this article on September 19th of the month. It’s now the 24th. (The delay is due to my health condition, which I’ve explained in my last article.) But much more important is the fact, that on the 17th of this month, twenty-four years ago, was the anniversary of Minister Farrakhan’s extraordinary vision/experience.

From the day he told me of his experience, which I’ve called his experience “more than a vision” because to me, it was more than a vision. His experience happened on the 17th of September 1985. I’ve made my reaction, very public and what it leads to, that he would see him. Many hide their reactions on some level.

On that day, or night, on the 17th of September 2009, in Chicago, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan made a powerful and very significant speech, or talk, to the Believers around the world.

This has a 100 percent bearing on what I’ve written in my last eight articles! I started it in Farrakhan: The Traveler Volume 28 Number 44, up to the previous article. I’ve stated outright that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad is very much ALIVE! What does the word “bearing” mean? One of the main meanings is “relation” or “relevant.” “Relation” means “the way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected; a thing’s effect on or relevance to another.” Now the word “relevant,” means, “closely connected or appropriate to the matter at hand.”

Please think over the relationship between the words “duty,” “obligation,” and the phrase “debt of gratitude for a service or favor.”

In a simple dictionary, we read that the word “duty” means, “a moral or legal obligation; a responsibility; a task or action that someone is required to perform” a profound connection to this word is the word, “duty-bound” which means “morally or legally obliged to do something.”

The word “obligation” means “an act or course of action to which a person is morally or legally bound; a duty or commitment.” It is also used to slightly mean “the condition of being morally or legally bound to do something.” It also is used to mean “a debt of gratitude for a service or favor.”

In my last article, I quoted a critical paragraph written by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. It reads: “Several years ago, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad wrote an article that he published in the Muhammad Speaks Newspaper, titled A Rule We Must Live By.

“He wrote: ‘Almighty God Allah, who appeared in the person of Master Fard Muhammad, has given us the knowledge of self and others, and we are now spreading it. Allah chose me to teach you this particular subject: ‘Accept your Own and be Yourself.’ This was His first and foremost teaching for us. This is the teaching and these are the words of Almighty God, Allah, to us in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, to whom praises are due forever and ever.”

I don’t have the date his words appeared in the Muhammad Speaks, some years ago. But his words appeared in The Final Call Volume 28 Number 46.

Please, focus on his words, “we are now spreading it.” He was referring to the truth, he was taught, by God Himself and that he was spreading it.

Of course, he was the first person to “spread” what he was taught by God Himself. Spread means, “open out (something) so as to extend its surface area, width, or length; move apart so as to cover a wider area; distribute or disperse (something) over a certain area; gradually reach or cause to reach a larger and larger area or more and more people; become distributed over a large or larger area.”

Here is my reason for repeating what I wrote in my last article. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad knew that Allah put a time limit on his work among us. I cannot tell you exactly what he was told. Why? That’s easy. I don’t know that! But I was in the audience when he told us what he told us! There was an outbreak of hypocrisy in 1964.

It became public. Hypocrites started it. They continued it. But the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and his true followers followed the Honorable Elijah Muhammad in the way it was handled. I was in the audience and was blessed to be knowledgeable. Therefore, I’m able to bear witness to the truth of it. It was aimed at those who loved him. But, ultimately it was aimed at him, specifically.

Allah, of course, was totally knowledgeable of all aspects of this.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad wrote an article that showed his total obedience to Allah. He wrote that Allah would bring on the chastisement within 18-24 months. That’s frightening!

How did he respond? I’m one of the witnesses of the truth of this. I’m telling you the essence of the truth of it. He prayed. How do I know? I was not in his house or wherever he was when he prayed. Again, how do I know? His prayer was accepted! We are here!

I lived long enough to see a lot of people lie and try to put themselves in a phony position in the eyes of ignorance. I’ve also lived long enough to see people who tell the truth of whatever they heard.

You are very blessed if you are presented with both of them and was/or are blessed to see the difference. That is an ultimate blessing when you can see that we are living in the days of judgment. Both are being presented in the ultimate form at the same time.
