Chapter Six of Is It Possible That The Honorable Elijah Muhammad Is Still Physically Alive ??? is titled, Minister Farrakhan’s Magnificent Answer. The second paragraph starts with, “Do you think you would have come to the position in which you are without your having come to the realization that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad is yet physically alive?” He answered the question. I referred to his answer as “magnificent.”
Two articles ago, I ended my article with “What makes Minister Farrakhan’s answer so magnificent?” Please bear with me as I respond to the question.
The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad told many of us that he expected to one day meet again with his Teacher, Master Fard Muhammad. I am aware that not everyone is interested in this subject. Many already are fixed with the view that he is physically dead.
Nevertheless, there are those who wish a fuller discussion of this subject. Moreover, sooner than most think everyone will be very interested in this subject.

On page 93 of Is It Possible That The Honorable Elijah Muhammad Is Still Physically Alive ??? it reads:
“One morning in October, 1966 Bernique Cushmeer told me of a spiritual experience–a vision–which she had during the previous night. In her vision she saw the Honorable Elijah Muhammad under great strain and pressure. He was suffering, even as he persevered in his mission. This caused her great distress. Then Master Fard Muhammad appeared. He spoke to her and told her that He was with His servant. He made clear that He would see him through that which he was enduring. She was comforted by His words.
“She related her experience to me the next morning.
“I do not really understand why I saw what I did in her vision, even to this day. All I can say is that the ninth chapter of the book of Daniel, especially the part about the ‘seventy weeks of years’ is what suddenly came to my mind even as she related to me her experience.
“I wrote a letter to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and informed him of her vision and my response to it. In his returned letter he acknowledged the truth of what Master Fard Muhammad told her in her vision. He said he could not go through what he was going through without the continuous and direct help of Master Fard Muhammad.
“Then he stated, in this letter, in answer to my response to her experience, that one day he would be the object of a particular death plot from which Allah, partly through the agency of special human beings he called angels, would enable him to escape. His letter clearly indicated to me that this future effort to murder him would be greater than all of the efforts which others had and were still making to take his life, which went back at least to 1935.
“It seemed clear to me, from what I felt of the spirit of his word, that this would be the greatest effort on the part of his (our) enemies to kill him. And, it was clear to me, that he expected this plot and attempt to be in the future; beyond the time of his November 1966 letter.
“However, he confidently continued, Allah would send His angels, who would come down and pick him up (rescue him) on what he called a dark and cloudy day. He also gave me chapters and verses from the Bible and the Holy Qur’an to study, that referred to this future event. He finally said that he would take me further into all of this when he saw me.
“I immediately studied what he gave me and then put the letter away. I thought about this subject for a few days. Then it sort of faded from my mind.
“Although I was blessed to see him, from time to time, during the next 11 months, it seems as if I had forgotten the subject. Nor did he bring it up during the times we saw each other after I received his letter of November, 1966.”
In the same book on page 99-100 it reads:
“On the morning of June 17, 2002 I received a phone call from Sister Andrea Muhammad of Muhammad Mosque No. 12, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the effect that she received a letter from Minister Rodney Muhammad (of that same Mosque) for me.
“It was the letter I referred to on page 114 of the eighth chapter of this book that was written to me by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad in November 1966.
“I had it when I published this book in 1983 and in 1990. It did not occur to me to mention nor include it in those printings.
“However, I did not have this letter at the time this book was published in 2001. If I did I would have published it in that printing which was about double the size of the previous two.
“If you notice I did not mention, in that chapter, whether or not this letter came up in what he told me of his future escape from a death plot. The letter was not on my mind at the time of our discussion, which developed, for me, quite unexpectedly. Nevertheless, I was and am grateful to Allah and to him for what he did tell me.
“I am very thankful to Allah for blessing me that day with that letter. I hope you share this gratitude. And, perhaps this letter will stimulate deeper thought over the future of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.”

On June 5, 2006 I interviewed the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan on a number of topics. One of them was what he thought about my idea of placing the letter that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad sent to me back in November 1966, in this book. Here was his response.
“There is no witness stronger than his own witness of what he knew would come to him, except Allah. He told you in the letter that he would escape a death plot. He gave several instances of scripture that confirmed that.
“So our saying he’s alive is strengthened by his words and he confirms what we’ve been saying that he is alive in the face of those who say: ‘Well the Honorable Elijah Muhammad never said nothing like that’ or ‘I never heard nothing like that’ or ‘I don’t believe the Honorable Elijah Muhammad is alive.’
“Well here’s a letter that he wrote at such and such a time in a certain context. And he bears witness that he would be taken on the heel of a death plot. Then, in connection with this death plot, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad told you that, ‘If Allah had not shown me how I was going to escape, I would have no hope.’ ”

In other books to be reprinted, and in others to be published soon, be it the will of Allah, I intend to cite testimonies from Minister Farrakhan and others on this subject of the veracity of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s statement in his letter, and that he is, indeed, alive, well and in power.
In Fall of America, chapter 58, he wrote: “The disbeliever believes that which he sees present and not that which is prophesied to come.”
