“And We have made every man’s actions to cling to his neck, and We shall bring forth to him on the day of Resurrection a book which he will find wide open. Read thy book. Thine own soul is sufficient as a reckoner against thee this day. Whoever goes aright, for his own soul does he go aright; and whoever goes astray, to its detriment only does he go astray. And no bearer of a burden can bear the burden of another. Nor do We chastise until We raise a messenger.” –Holy Qur’an, Surah 17, verses 13-15.
[Editor’s note: The following article is based on an edited transcript of the concluding remarks of a lecture delivered by Mother Tynnetta Muhammad at Muhammad’s Mosque No. 32 in Phoenix, Arizona on September 17, 2006.]
Today is the anniversary of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s Vision-Like Experience on the Wheel, which is very fascinating because we did not know that this Sunday’s meeting would be commemorating the anniversary of that experience.
We’re in a city that has great potential. It is the meeting point where the Honorable Elijah Muhammad in the early sixties established a residence, not just a house, but he established from the Mind of God, following His instructions as he told us, that he was not to come to the western region of the United States until God instructed him.
Watch the way he moved from Detroit to Chicago, where he planted the seed of the governmental structure of the Nation of Islam. So we had a journey from Mecca to Medina, fulfilling the history of Prophet Muhammad of Arabia. Then, unseen to us, he is being guided by the Master ever since the Master departed. He told us, “I hear from Him at least twice a year.” How do you hear from a Master unless your ears are cleared so that you can hear and talk back to Him?
When the time was proper, he moved to Phoenix for the other part of his mission–17 million with the two million Indians, making a total of 19 million.
In our last edition of The Final Call newspaper–which is full of wisdom that’s focusing on critical aspects of Minister Farrakhan’s mission–there appeared Minister Farrakhan’s letters of warning to President George Bush and his press conferences regarding the “war on terror.” The newspaper then closes with a letter about Minister Farrakhan’s health condition.
The war was part of Minister Farrakhan’s Visionary Experience and it was through that Vision that he declared that he was being guided by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, step by step, to the proclamation of the Million Man March in 1995. Then, step by step, we experienced the Million Family March in 2000 and the Millions More Movement in 2005.
What is the significance? It marks the increase of converts to the Divine Teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. Minister Farrakhan s fulfilling what the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad said of him, that “Through him, I will get all of my people.” Then, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is guiding and instructing us to follow in his footsteps. These are the miracles that God is performing in the wilderness of North America as He did 4,000 years ago in the time of Moses and Aaron being entrusted with the rebellious house of Israel.
In this hour of crisis plaguing our planet, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is telling us that he has to step back a little bit. Facing a serious health condition, we know that God is the Healer.
We can help in the healing process by what we do in the accomplishments and duties under severe trials. He has utilized the last 29 years under the guidance of Almighty God Allah so magnificently that nobody can say he didn’t complete the work. He has come to a junction.
Now, we are at the junction of the river traveling with the Wise Man. Within the last two years, Minister Farrakhan used the history of Moses traveling in the search of knowledge and how at a certain point, we in our rebellious state, continued to walk in doubt and suspicion.
The Master told Moses not to ask so many questions, just do what he told him to do and the Master would give Moses the explanation.
Yet, Moses persisted in questioning the Wise Man. “I don’t understand.” “That’s criminal.” “Why would you do that?” You can hear that questioning going in your head among your fellow Believers, disbelievers or hypocrites. They slip up on you and whisper in your ear something contrary to what the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has said, but they do it in subtleties.
It might catch you, and you say, “I wonder why that Brother or Sister said that.” It is an evil suggestion. Allah (God) gave us two Surahs at the end of the Holy Qur’an to protect ourselves from such subtleties, Surah 113 and Surah 114.
“And how many generations did We destroy after Noah! And thy Lord suffices as being Aware and Seer of his servants’ sins. Whoso desires this transitory life, We hasten to him therein what We please for whomsoever We desire, then We assign to him the hell; he will enter it despised, driven away. And whoso desires the Hereafter and strives for it as he ought to strive and he is a believer–those are they whose striving is amply rewarded.” -Holy Qur’an, Surah 17, verses 17-19
To be continued.
