JABRIL.MUHAMMAD
Please read these verses from the Holy Qur’an from the Muhammad Ali translation.
2:4 And who believe in that which has been revealed to thee and that which was revealed before thee, and of the Hereafter they are sure.
2:6 Those who disbelieve – it being alike to them whether thou warn them or warn them not – they will not believe.
2:8 And there are some people who say: We believe in Allah and the Last Day; and they are not believers.
2:9 They seek to deceive Allah and those who believe and they deceive only themselves and they perceive not.
2:10 In their hearts is a disease, so Allah increased their disease, and for them is a painful chastisement because they lie.
2:13 And when it is said to them, Believe as the people believe, they say: Shall we believe as the fools believe? Now surely they are the fools, but they know not.
2:14 And when they meet those who believe, they say, We believe; and when they are alone with their devils, they say: Surely we are with you, we were only mocking.
2:34 And when We said to the angels, Be submissive to Adam, they submitted, but Iblis (did not). He refused and was proud, and he was one of the disbelievers.
2:39 And (as to) those who disbelieve in and reject Our messages, they are the companions of the Fire; in it they will abide.
2:41 And believe in that which I have revealed, verifying that which is with you, and be not the first to deny it; neither take a mean price for My messages; and keep your duty to Me, Me alone.

Below is an excerpt from a talk I did in San Diego on December 3, 1995 titled: A Valuable Blackman.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I have a very important subject to review. You already know this, but I just want to review it. And those of you who are new to this teachings or don’t have it all together, in your head, I hope that this, what we’re going to cover for the next hour or two, will cause you to make the kind of study that you deserve to make for yourself, about a very important Black man–the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.
Needless to say, any man, who can summon a million people to one spot and the government not be able to stop that, is a man about whom you should know much. And not to take the time to avail yourself or not to find out how you can learn more about him is to do yourself a disservice.
A brief consideration of the true value of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan in the narrowest of term is the subject of this chapter. Greatness in and of itself is meaningless except in terms of one value.
Value is best measured in terms of service. Even though it would be taken as this author’s personal bias, nevertheless the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is a most valuable man in the sight of the Two who backs him namely, Master Fard Muhammad and the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and to those who are with him.
That word with is a very big word here.

Finally on three separate occasions and this is what I was leading up to, between 1969 and 1970 the Honorable Elijah Muhammad spoke in a certain progression concerning the value of Minister Farrakhan to himself.
I did not know of these words about him. I was not there when he spoke these words.
First he said, “Brother, you are more valuable to me than a truck load of diamonds and gold.”
On another occasion he said, “Brother you are more valuable to me than a thousand airplanes with a thousand head of sheep on every plane.”
On a third occasion he said to Minister Farrakhan, “Brother you are more valuable to me than all of the wealth that is in the earth because the wealth of the earth I met when I came here and I shall leave it when I’m gone, but through you I will be able to get all of my people.”
Stop and let us think carefully over this article and why I’m writing this now.
I did this talk many years ago and I’m mentioning three different events that took place in Chicago that involved the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and Minister Farrakhan.
The following took place here in Phoenix, Arizona.
His (the Honorable Elijah Muhammad) remarks triggered something that had come to me some years ago, which I had not spoken to anyone. I simply had no reason to do so. It was just one of those things which just sits in the mind of any of us, without our attaching much importance to it, which later turns out to be more significant than we had first realized.
My response to his remark was unplanned, unexpected, and spontaneous. (Sometime later I wondered to what extent was this simply a fortuitous event–that which happens by a fortunate accident or chance–or was it deeper. We’ll explore this later in this chapter.)
To his blushing remark I simply commented that his age was of importance with me. I had no idea that this would open up what it did. He immediately unnerved me when his countenance suddenly became very stern and serious. He looked sharply at me as he sat down. I did not know what I had said to cause this sudden change.
After he sat down he again shot another serious glance at me. He asked me, “What do you see in my age, Brother?” I said I knew there were connections between his age, at certain points in his life, and certain prophecies.
He continued looking at me with that same stern expression as he asked me to give him an example. I mentioned the ninth chapter of Daniel. He said, “Get my Bible.” It was behind him on the T.V. As I got up to get it I recall thinking that I did not ever recall seeing any of his Bibles downstairs, as opposed to up in his bedroom or in his office. As I picked it up I noticed that it was the King James Version.
He asked me to turn to the ninth chapter of Daniel. I did. He said, “Read it.” As I looked at the 24th verse I noticed that there were little “Xs” besides each of the last four verses of that chapter. They were verses 24 through 27.
I read aloud from the book of Daniel, beginning in 9:24: “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
“Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah, the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
“And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off– .”
He interrupted me with these words: “How do you see this ‘cut off’ Brother?” I responded that from all I had learned from him and from the scriptures I knew that this referred to him, but that this did not mean death for him. I said it meant that he would go to be with Master Fard Muhammad.
At my answer his stern expression softened. While looking directly at me he said: “This is the most critical part of scripture with me Brother.”
Then he paused. He slowly leaned back in his chair. He was quiet. Then he asked me this question, “Where do you think I am going to go, Brother, and when?” It would be quite some time before I would think of the momentous significance of his question.
Meanwhile, because of a lesson I learned from him in May 1961, in Phoenix, I immediately wrote my answers on the paper napkin his cook had given to me with the orange juice and the coffee.
To the question of “where” I wrote what I thought might be six stopping off places on the way to his ultimate destination. There was a seventh stop off place that was in my mind. I did not mention that to him until 27 months later, in January 1970, while in his home in Chicago.
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad is not dead!
More next issue, Allah willing.
