“No disaster befalls in the earth, or in yourselves, but it is in a book before We bring it into existence—surely that is easy to Allah—So that you grieve not for what has escaped you, nor exult in that which He has given you. And Allah loves not any arrogant boaster. Such as are niggardly and enjoin niggardliness on men. And whoever turns back, then surely Allah is the Self-Sufficient, the Praised.”—Holy Qur’an, Surah 57, verses 22-24
On the official opening day of our Saviours’ Day Convention this year, 2012, which began on Friday, February 24th, an extraordinary exhibit officially opened at the Field Museum in Chicago on Genghis Khan. It was not a coincidence that during our Saviours’ Day activities of seminars and workshops, we premiered our first documentary and symposium on Genghis Khan as a work in progress entitled, “From Genghis Khan to Kublai Khan to Farra-Khan,” Parallels Between Mongolian History and the Rise of the Nation of Islam in the West.
Many stunning details of the Mongol Nation and its founder, Genghis Khan, currently on exhibit at the Field Museum, was surprisingly connected to a series of articles written in my column, “Unveiling the Number 19,” which covered aspects of my own journey to Mongolia since 2003. These articles are dated from September 2011 to January 2012. Many have raised the question why Mongolia at the end of a cycle of history that most of us have never really considered as pertinent to the fulfillment of prophecy. The following words are transcribed from my opening remarks on the day the documentary was presented to the public for the first time. In the next article, God willing, we will deal with more details on the question raised above.
We thank all of our visitors and all of our guests who have come to this premiere engagement, which I believe, will be a very interesting experience for all of us. I cannot tell you in words how much I love our God with all my heart, with all my mind and spirit, for His blessing me on this long journey of a lifetime to come to this day to say that there is no God but Allah! It is He whom we glorify for every word and every deed and every valley we pass through, never forgetting that if it were not for Allah, who is the Greatest, and the Almighty, the Majestic, that we would not be gathered today.
Over the past ten years, I have been privileged to make these journeys back and forth at least five times to the Arctic Zone of Siberia, to the Al-Tai Republic of Russia, and to Mongolia which borders those countries, as well as China and Kazakhstan. Making these journeys made me wonder why, why did I undertake these strenuous journeys? How did it come to pass? Why would I journey alone? My first journey to Mongolia was made alone to such a cold and frigid area of our planet. It was 25 degrees below zero when our plane landed in the capital of Ulaanbaatar; and I was received by a beautiful group of youths who were members of the Unification Church. They came to escort me to a guesthouse and took care of everything that was required for my five-day visit.
When I left that mysterious place, I wondered in my heart and my soul, what is it that Almighty Allah was showing me? Why was I taken so far away to that Far Northeast corner of our planet? What you will see is the result of those five journeys with the accumulation of the research, information and the knowledge gathered from meeting very imminent people in the fields of music, science, archeology, anthropology and history all living there in that little small place of Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia.
Without prolonging the time, I want to thank with all my heart, my youngest son, Ahmad Muhammad, who worked night and day to take all of our footage of videos, photos and interviews all rendered by my traveling companions Sister Vivian X Lee and Sister Anita Muhammad. Sister Leah Muhammad had an opportunity to visit Mongolia about two years ago and there she saw the wonders of this mysterious and strange land; but yet we have discovered in these ten years of research that we’re all related. You are me, I am you so wherever we go we see the faces of the Original People living all over our planet, conquering jungles in Africa, the wild animals of the jungle life, in the cold lands of the Arctic. Everywhere we go, we find the original man and people.
My son, Ahmad Muhammad, doesn’t want me to talk about him. He told me, no, no! I insisted, truly, son, your hands and mind are a gift from God. He took all of our material and agreed to help complete this documentary after he was asked by Sister Leah several months ago. He responded with all his heart and gathered the material and went to work. During the last two weeks working diligently night and day, he completed the assignment of this documentary as a work in progress.
He only wanted me to go into the recording studio and that recording was done at The Final Call tape department under the direction of Brother Hassan Muhammad. Members of the staff of The Final Call also stepped in to assist me to complete this tedious task: Sister Marcella Muhammad in the Editorial Department, Brother Harold Muhammad in the Production Department, and Brother Marc D. Muhammad, in the Video Duplication Department, who was very attentive in reviewing videotapes on the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s expedition to Navajo Land where he addressed the Indian Council.
Following the documentary, we are going to have a panel discussion with just a few questions and a surprise press release to present as a few of us were in attendance at the pre-opening of the Genghis Khan exhibit. Once again press representatives from The Final Call newspaper included: Sister Marcella Muhammad, Sister Akosua Muhammad and Sister Nataki Muhammad, contributing photographer. This will be followed by a musical medley of beautiful music coming from our guest audience, one of whom is directly from Mongolia, Otgoo Gere performing with our dear brother, Henri Muhammad of the Muhammad’s School of Music in Buffalo, New York, along with our very prestigious and beautiful Indigo Blue, harpist, from Washington, D.C.
“Certainly We sent Our messengers with clear arguments, and sent down with them the Book and the measure, that men may conduct themselves with equity. And We sent down iron, wherein is great violence and advantages to men, and that Allah may know who helps Him and His messengers, unseen. Surely Allah is Strong, Mighty.”—Holy Qur’an, Surah 57, verse 25
