JABRIL.MUHAMMAD
Is the “Resurrection” going on in every city, in the U. S. A.?
What does this mean? What does this mean now?
*********
I wrote these words in a book in the “1980s” below.
In Modern Guide To Synonyms, edited by S. I. Hayakawa, page 609, we read under “sure” and its synonyms:
“These words all mean free from doubt or uncertainty. Sure and certain are used interchangeably in most contexts, but certain may emphasize the indisputable character of what is referred to, implying that whatever is certain is subject to reasonable debate.
Sure is more indiscriminately used. Both words, but especially sure, may serve as polite substitutes for a hopeful but less-than-certain attitude.”
This won’t entirely do. However, the next word, “positive” is somewhat more emphatic than sure or certain in stressing the absolute absence of doubt and the incontestable nature of one’s conviction.
Webster’s New Dictionary of Synonyms, page 136 tells us that:
“Certainty, certitude, assurance, conviction are, comparable when denoting a state of mind in which one is free from doubt.”
It is that state of mind, and the means by which we can arrive to and in it, with respect to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, that concerns us.
It is the realities that the words refer to that we want. We should keep in mind that we have a man (the Honorable Elijah Muhammad) that met God Himself that taught us that the Holy Qur’an is from Allah, Who says we must not doubt either.
I wrote this that observed that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said that, “Doubt is the mother of disbelief.”
Anyone desiring to look into the finer senses in which these words are used and the states of mind they refer to can pursue it on page 136 of the Webster’s New Dictionary of Synonyms as cited above.
It is written that one day an event, or a series of events making one big event, will happen. Then all falsehood and pretense will vanish and the whole, full and absolute Truth will be laid bare.
Jesus said in effect that after his time God would raise up a man and teach him “all truth.” (John 16:13) This one–the Honorable Elijah Muhammad–was given the Holy Qur’an by His Teacher. Allah, the Author of the Holy Qur’an, says of the Holy Qur’an that:
… surely it is the certain Truth. (Muhammad Ali’s translation)
… verily it is Truth of assured certainty. (Yusuf Ali’s translation)
This can be found in the 69th chapter of the Holy Qur’an, verse 51.
Chapter 102 of the Holy Qur’an contains verses, which the scholars consider as disclosing three degrees of certainty of knowledge. Read chapter 102:5-8 and footnote 2792 of Muhammad Ali’s translation and footnote 6259 in Yusuf Ali’s translation.
In footnote 5673 in Yusuf Ali translation we can read:
“All Truth is in itself certain. But as received by men, and understood with reference to men’s psychology, certainty may have certain degrees. There is the probability or certainty resulting from the application of man’s power of judgment and his appraisement of evidence. This is ‘lim-ul-yaqin, certainty by reasoning or inference. Then there is the certainty of seeing something with our own eyes. ‘Seeing is believing.’ This is ‘ani-ul-yaqin, certainty by personal inspection. See cii. 5, 7. Then as here, there is the absolute Truth, with no possibility of error of judgment or error of the eye (which stands for any instrument of sense-perception and any ancillary aids, such as microscopes, etc.). This absolute Truth is the haqq-ul-yaqin spoken of here.”
(I just erased 74 words from this article. I’ll explain and justify, Allah willing next article and place those words in the next issue. You will see better the context and the why.)
Moreover, if we act on what he teaches, we can have certainty by the realization of the truth in our hearts. In other words, we can have that same witness or realization in our innermost selves that The Honorable Elijah Muhammad has in himself, according to our capacities.
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad lives by what he teaches, and what he teaches is in accord with the laws of nature. He demonstrates this by showing that the laws of nature bear witness to His message. This could only occur if his mission and message was from God Himself. Surely a man with such experience has the utmost certainty of the truth of what he teaches. Wouldn’t you? Certainly you would.
Well then, if followers of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad are able to show proof of the truth from scripture and nature, wouldn’t they realize this truth in themselves, to some extent? And if we are on this level, should we be regarded as arrogant because we see in the Honorable Elijah Muhammad the Rock of our salvation and are, therefore, sure of him and speak about him with confidence? Read Holy Qur’an 13:43.
I dimly recall a poem I once heard about some blind men and an elephant. As I recall, there were five or six blind men, each of whom were touching different parts of the animal. One blind man had a hold on the elephant’s tail. He said it felt like a rope. Another had an ear. He thought it was a fan. Still another thought a leg was a tree trunk. Yet the blind man whose hand was on the animal’s side, said it felt like a wall. This is the way I remember it.
The Black man and woman of the U.S.A. are like those blind men. It is very hard to get us to agree on anything. We are not too willing to say “I don’t know,” even when we don’t know. This makes for a lot of trouble among us. But if we could agree on truth and unite, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said the greater part of our problems would be solved. This makes sense.
One of the main areas that Black people are divided on, concerns God Himself. Read and think over what the Honorable Elijah Muhammad wrote of the Bible and Holy Qur’an, beginning on page 86 of Message To The Blackman.
If we had the true knowledge of the Bible and Holy Qur’an, we could agree on the truth of God, devil, religion and the people of Allah.
So true! And if our people–Black Pastors too–had the truth and accepted it, we could agree on the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’ teachings.

Why am I putting this following question in bold–black? Why did God produce the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and put him in this situation, starting in 1975 when the Honorable Elijah Muhammad departed? Look up the word “situation.”
More next issue, Allah willing.
