JABRIL.MUHAMMAD

I’m repeating the last few words of my last article and I’ve made the photos of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan as part of my statement of him.

“I heard a brother ask a question of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad that involves the meaning of the words in Revelation chapter 5 verses 5-7.”

I was stunned when I heard the insight and the power of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s answer.

Revelation 5: 5-7:

“And one of the elders saith unto me, ‘Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.’

“And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

“And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.”

Years later, 1974, I was blessed to see that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad was going to depart and that Minister Farrakhan was being prepared to see and meet the Honorable Elijah Muhammad again, but not in a spooky manner, but in person!

PART THIRTY-SEVEN

God has secrets. Both the Bible and the Holy Qur’an teach this, directly and indirectly. Our own intelligence also tells us that God has secrets. Just consider how much exact knowledge of the nature of God’s existence has man known, until today?

For instance, the scriptures teach us that God sees, hears, interacts with people; that He becomes happy, sad, angry, etc. How should this really be understood? Certainly, the world’s view of this must change when He comes and discloses what He will of His own reality.

According to the scriptures, one day God is to come. Just how is this coming to be? And even here we have a secret. The Bible does teach us that God will come like a thief in the night. This does not mean that He is a thief. But as thieves do not like to be discovered when they are stealing, according to the scriptures, it is evident that God did not want everyone to know too much about His first coming.

If you notice, God met with Moses, in private, on a mountain across the Atlantic Ocean–a specific mountain. That was a private meeting. Well, why did God want to make it a private meeting? What was it about Himself and that which He communicated to Moses that he could not have Pharaoh and others in on the meeting? Why did He not go to Pharaoh Himself? Since it clearly was not because He feared Pharaoh, what was His reason?

Now, in the writings of Peter, in the New Testament, God is to come as a thief in the night. Remember, this was written after, as we have been told, Jesus ascended to the Father.

This coming of God that Peter referred to is a coming or an appearance of God, or by God at some point in time and at some place on earth after Peter wrote what he wrote.

Of course, it is well known that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us for 40 years that Master Fard Muhammad was and is the One Who came like a thief in the night. Master Fard Muhammad taught, commissioned and prepared the Honorable Elijah Muhammad to say and do as he said and has done for 40 years.

Even though there were many people who saw Master Fard Muhammad, it has been established beyond all argument that no one knew the secret of His identity but the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad recognized Master Fard Muhammad the first time he laid eyes on Him in the early fall of 1931. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad did not actually see Him again until a month had passed. And then he was taught by Master Fard Muhammad, continually for the next 40 months.

Minister Louis Farrakhan first learned of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad in 1952. However, he did not actually see him until February 26, 1955. He became a convert that very day.

All of this relates to what the scriptures call “mysteries.” This word, mysteries, in the scriptural sense of the word, and in its simplest sense, refers to divinely kept secrets. Now, divinely kept secrets simply means secrets that God Himself keeps from the rest of us by whatever means He deems best.

In chapter 72, verse 26 and part of verse 27 of the Holy Qur’an, translated by Yusuf Ali, which reads: “He (alone) knows the Unseen, nor does He make anyone acquainted with His Mysteries–Except an apostle Whom He has chosen …”

Footnote to it (number 5749) reads, in part: “Mystery, or the Unseen has two aspects. The relative Unseen is so with reference to a particular person, because of the intervention of time, space, or particular circumstances.”

I will have to continue this footnote next week.

PART THIRTY-EIGHT

To continue footnote 5749 to 72:26 of the Yusuf Ali translation, “For example, I cannot see today a house which I saw last year, because it has since been pulled down.

Or I cannot in Lahore see the “Gateway of India” in Bombay, although anyone in Bombay can see it. Or I cannot see the satellites of Jupiter with the naked eye, though I can through a telescope.

But the Absolute Unseen, the Absolute Mystery, or God’s Mystery, is something which no creature can know or see, except insofar as God reveals it to him. And God reveals such things to the extent that is good for men, through His chosen apostles, among whom the greatest is Muhammad, the personified Light of Unity.

The exact time of the Hour of Judgment has not been so shown, because we must not wait for it, but live as if it is to be at this minute.”

Before I tie up all of what I have been writing during the past several articles, please ponder the following quotes from Paul: “And, we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God.” (l Corinthians 2:7)

And in yet another translation, “The wisdom I proclaim is God’s secret wisdom, which is hidden from mankind, but which He had already chosen for our glory even before the world was made.”
