BALTIMORE—The M.G.T. and G.C.C. Vanguard of Muhammad Mosque No. 6 in Baltimore participated in a community outreach effort.
A powerful atmosphere of growth, confidence, and sisterhood filled the room as young women gathered for a transformative “Glow Up Seminar” designed to equip them with essential life skills rooted in etiquette, self-wellness, and emotional healing.
The seminar, held in the spring, created a safe and uplifting space where girls were encouraged to grow in character, discipline, and self-worth. The gathering was held at ConneXions, a community-based arts school.
A central focus of the April 29, seminar was teaching proper etiquette, how to carry oneself with dignity, communicate effectively, and navigate various social and professional settings. Through interactive discussions and real-life scenarios, participants learned the importance of first impressions, respect, and personal presentation.
By the end of the seminar, the room was filled with smiles, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose. The young women left not only with new knowledge, but with strengthened bonds and a clearer understanding of their worth.
