In honor of the life, legacy and impact of civil rights icon Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., brothers and sisters from the Nation of Islam in various cities joined other community members in events and activities.
The federal King Day holiday was observed on Monday, January 19. Muslims attended and participated in various events commemorating the work and honoring the impact of Dr. King.—The Final Call
