CHICAGO—The grounds of The National Center, headquarters of the Nation of Islam, were recently transformed into a hub featuring Black and Muslim entrepreneurs. The Crescent Family Market provided vendors with an opportunity to showcase their goods and items for purchase.
The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught on the importance of supporting Black-owned businesses. In His book, “Message To The Blackman In America,” the Honorable Elijah Muhammad writes to, “Spend your money among yourselves,” and “Build an economic system among yourselves.”
The event, held Oct. 25, was sponsored by the National Auditing Department and was open to the public.—The Final Call
