CHICAGO—Despite the turmoil and conflicts happening around the world, adults and youth convened in Chicago to promote peace. The 47th Annual Peace Day Chicago was held on September 22 at Daley Plaza.
The event featured cultural performances, a World Peace Flag ceremony, and a moment of silence in honor of world peace. The gathering was organized by community groups and Chicago city officials.—The Final Call
