Re: In Loving Memory of Brother Naba’a Muhammad
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
On behalf of the National Newspaper Publishers Association (NNPA), I extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the family, loved ones, and colleagues of our dear Brother, Naba’a Muhammad.
The loss of Brother Naba’a, Editor-in-Chief of The Final Call, is a profound one—not just for the publication he led with such excellence and clarity, but for Black America and the Black Press as a whole. His voice was unwavering, his commitment to truth and justice uncompromising, and his love for our people evident in every word he wrote and every truth be told. He was a rare light—a courageous journalist, a spiritual warrior, and a sacred vessel for righteous communication.
At this time, final arrangements have not yet been made available. As soon as we receive them, we will share the details with our members and supporters.
We join you in mourning his transition and in lifting his family in continuous prayer. Let us honor his extraordinary legacy by continuing the work he devoted his life to—empowering our communities, defending the truth, and building unity through our voice and collective strength.
May his soul rest in peace and power.
In solidarity and sympathy,
Bobby R. Henry, Sr.
