The headquarters of the Nation of Islam is preparing for an influx of believers and guests planning to attend the Saviours’ Day 2025 convention on Feb. 21-23. This year’s convention is taking place on the grounds of The National Center in Chicago, which includes Mosque Maryam and Muhammad University of Islam.
Saviours’ Day commemorates the Birth Anniversary of Master W. Fard Muhammad, Allah (God) in Person, born on February 26, 1877, in the Holy City of Mecca.
Master Fard Muhammad traveled 9,000 miles to North America with the mission to seek and to save the lost Black man and woman. He appeared in Detroit, Michigan, in an area known as Black Bottom, in July 1930, as the long-awaited Messiah of the Christians and Mahdi of the Muslims.
Master Fard Muhammad raised and taught the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, the Eternal Leader of the Nation of Islam, who convened the first Saviours’ Day convention. The tradition of Saviours’ Day has been carried on through the work of his National Representative, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

Anticipation is growing around the country as The Crowning Event of Black History Month approaches. The greeting of “Happy Saviours’ Day” has been reverberating across the country, as excitement ramps up for the convention. Several hotels in Chicago are already fully booked with expectant attendees, and vending space at the convention is sold out.
The Shura Executive Council of the Nation of Islam, laborers and staff have been working diligently to welcome and accommodate the number of attendees. The National Center will have two additional structures to fit thousands of people.
Believers can look forward to praying together for Salat-al Jumu’ah, the Friday congregational prayer, on Feb. 21. Afternoon workshop sessions, happening at Mosque Maryam, include health and preventative care and strengthening marriage and family. Evening entertainment includes a Nation of Islam Musical Ensemble/Waltz Program.
The next morning, Feb. 22, Believers can look forward to attending their respective M.G.T. (Muslim Girls Training) and F.O.I. (Fruit of Islam) classes. The Nation of Islam’s graduation for newly registered Believers will take place after. The classes and graduation are open to registered members of the Nation of Islam only.

Mother Khadijah Farrakhan’s Children’s Village will also be part of the Saviours’ Day convention. Children can enjoy the popular attraction, which will include bowling, virtual reality, laser tag, inflatables, games for toddlers and Mother Khadijah Farrakhan’s Gift Center, on Saturday, Feb. 22.
