[Editor’s Note: The city of Boston, Massachusetts honored the memory and legacy of Minister Don Muhammad of Mosque No. 11 who returned to Allah on December 17 at age 87.
For two days, December 19 and 20, Boston City Hall was illuminated in blue, which according to Minister Don’s daughter Cheryl, was his favorite color. The following words were shared by The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan to The Final Call about his brother and friend.]
“The city of Boston, Massachusetts paid special honor to Minister Don Muhammad of Mosque No. 11 in recognition of the majesty of his great work that has made a difference in that city.
I who grew up there can never thank Allah (God) enough for what the city has done in recognizing Minster Don’s noble presence and noble work. It was done in honor of the great work he did in that city that will live a long, long time after we have turned to ashes, his work will stand.”
