While Israel rolls forward in its multi-front war on Palestinians that has extended into Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and its growing conflicts with Iran, answers for why the temperature of war is rising rather than subsiding are unfolding.

Before the current crisis reached this level of upset were years of warnings from the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and his National Representative, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

Early this year, Minister Farrakhan in his Saviours’ Day message delivered on Feb. 25, warned that the ultimate aim of the war blazing since October 7, 2023, involves a sinister plan of genocide and continued illegal seizing of Palestinian lands.

He also revealed why Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refuses to end the slaughter, displacement and destruction, despite global condemnation.

“Prime Minister Netanyahu has a vision of Haaretz Israel. Several states over there, including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, they intend to annex that to what is called ‘Greater Israel,’” said Minister Farrakhan, in his message entitled “What Does Allah The Great Mahdi And The Great Messiah Have To Say About The War In The Middle East?”

“Do you know about that? That man already has over 400 nuclear bombs sitting in the desert in Dimona, Israel,” Minister Farrakhan continued.  “That’s a lot of weapons. And they, now, feel that they are the power in the Middle East, and they are,” he said.

Mr. Netanyahu has argued the war, which has slain over 43,000 Palestinians, injured more than 100,000, and left thousands missing and presumed dead in mountains of rubble, is to eliminate the Palestinian resistance group Hamas. But for a growing number of analysts and observers, Israel’s rationale is a façade for a more ominous plan against Palestinian life.

Since Minister Farrakhan gave his remarks before the world independent reports on the crisis have been published bearing witness that he spoke the truth.

A United Nations report published on Oct. 29 examined Israel’s horrors in the occupied Palestinian territory and determined that the occupier state seeks the total removal of Palestinians from their homeland.

Francesca Albanese, the special rapporteur on the “Situation of Human Rights in the Palestinian Territories Occupied Since 1967” previously concluded in March that there were reasonable grounds to believe Israel had committed acts of genocide in Gaza.

In her current report called “Genocide As Colonial Erasure,” she expanded the analysis of the violence to include its spread into the West Bank, including East Jerusalem. Ms. Albanese spotlights genocidal intent—which is a requisite act needed to charge that a country violated the Geneva Convention on Genocide.

Removal by death and expulsion

The new report contextualized the current situation within a “decades-long process of territorial expansion” and “ethnic cleansing” aimed at liquidating the Palestinian presence in Palestine.

She suggests that genocide should be seen as integral and instrumental to the aim of full Israeli colonization of Palestinian land while removing as many Palestinians as possible.

Although the Zionist agenda has been in play for decades, the October 7, 2023, attack and subsequent disproportionate actions by Israel brought bloodshed on an unprecedented scale.

“The situation is worsening by the day. The pace and intensity of the Israeli violence and destruction has spread to the rest of the occupied territory, leaving no Palestinian safe under Israel’s unfettered control,” Ms. Albanese said, on Oct. 31 of this year.

“For over a year, I have pleaded to all concerned parties as well as States, particularly those with influence, to take concrete action to stop the destruction of the Palestinian people, to ensure the prompt and unconditional release of all hostages, both Israelis and Palestinians, and to ensure international law is respected,” she said.

In her report to the General Assembly, Ms. Albanese described Gaza as a wasteland of rubble and human remains, with people barely holding on to life amid deprivation and disease, while battling with the deep, inherited trauma of Nakba (catastrophe) survivors, referring to the forced expulsions of Palestinians in 1948.

“Communal bonds have been broken,” she said, adding, “the social fabric shredded, and reserves of resilience depleted.”

A deep sinister scheme at work

On October 7, 2023, a Hamas-led incursion into illegal occupier settlements, killing upward of 1,200 people and abducting 250, sparked the war. Minister Farrakhan attributed the breach by Hamas through Israel’s high-tech security wall to an intentional plan involving Mr. Netanyahu’s having foreknowledge about it, which was later reported in Israeli media and the New York Times.

“Here is what happened in Palestine. They chose October the 7th, the birthday of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad,” the Minister said, referring to his teacher.

Despite Israel having a U.S.-provided “Iron Dome” missile defense system that intercepts incoming rockets, some of Hamas’s 5,000 missiles got through. Additionally, there were 22 breaks in its impregnable wall, which has several means of protection like sensors, automatic machine gun fire and drones.

“But none of that was brought to bear,” said the Minister. “The truth is there was a stand down that allowed these things to happen,” he stated.

Mr. Netanyahu had in mind a second Nakba, Minister Farrakhan explained. The first Nakba on the Palestinians happened when Israel became a state in 1948 and forcefully exiled 700,000 Palestinians, making them like vagabonds on the Earth. The Minister also said the move was the pretext to force a new reality on Gaza and genocidal actions on the Palestinian people.

“But he had in mind, Netanyahu, he was going to use the pain of their loss to destroy the whole Palestinian community, not only in Gaza, but the West Bank, East Jerusalem,” explained Minister Farrakhan.

“It was a genocidal attack that he knew preserved his place as a Jewish leader. People do strange things when their hatred is so great of the people that they are killing, that their intention was to cleanse Gaza from every Palestinian that lived there and cleanse the West Bank and East Jerusalem so that Israel would not be bothered with Palestinians anymore,” said Minister Farrakhan.

Oil wealth in Gaza

Minister Farrakhan, a divinely guided man, also pointed out in his address that Israel now sees billions of dollars of oil wealth under Gaza, and they want to build a canal larger than Egypt’s Suez Canal and take advantage of that wealth. Along with the land resource is the long-held desire to annex several states in what they want as “Greater Israel,” which must be noted.

Recently within the ultra-rightwing silo of Israeli politics has been the bodacious talk and plans for re-occupying Gaza to construct new settlements there. This is their proverbial “day after” the war ends, and this is what the bloodthirst rhetoric since Oct. 7 was about.

For example, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu repeatedly referred to Palestinians in Gaza as “Amalek,” a biblical term often associated with calling for the desolation of an entire people, including killing women, children, the elderly, and even livestock.

Although Israel refuted the “Amalek” reference as genocidal in nature, a current case against Israel brought on by South Africa at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) argues that is exactly how Israeli soldiers understood it.

On Oct. 29, South Africa filed its full evidence to the ICJ outlining Israel’s aims to “depopulate Gaza through mass death” and “forced displacement” of Palestinians.

Notwithstanding, in addition to the acute bloodletting, ethnic cleansing and illegal land theft are the obstruction of UN-mandated relief organizations. Against international standards are targeted killings of journalists, medical workers, and aid workers. These acts have become the norm for Israel, although prohibited by international law.

On Oct. 28, the Israeli Knesset (Parliament) introduced legislation outlawing the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

The UN established UNRWA in 1949 to provide humanitarian assistance and protection to thousands of Palestinian refugees who lost their homes and livelihoods in the Nakba of 1948. The international community, including the UN Security Council, the African Union, and humanitarian aid groups, denounced the decision.

“If UNRWA is unable to operate, it’ll likely see the collapse of the humanitarian system in Gaza,” said UNICEF spokesperson James Elder, who has worked extensively in Gaza since the Oct. 7 war began. “So, a decision such as this suddenly means that a new way has been found to kill children,” reported Reuters.

Known as “Gaza’s lifeline” since October 2023, advocates argue banning UNRWA is an assault on the survival of over two million Palestinians and aligns with a broader pattern of genocidal intent.

Furthermore, disrupting UNRWA’s operation would have devastating consequences and contribute to imposing conditions of life calculated to bring about the physical destruction of Palestinians. Some see it as part of the ongoing campaign to undermine the “inalienable right of return” of Palestinians to their ancestral lands.

For Issam Younis, general director of Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights, a Gaza-based non-profit, Israel’s objective is to weaken the collective identity and right to self-determination of the Palestinian people.

“By dismantling the Agency that has supported millions of Palestinian refugees since the beginning of our forced exile, Israel aims to undermine the internationally recognized right to return to our ancestral homes and lands,” said Mr. Younis in an Oct. 29 statement.

On her X page, Ms. Albanese called the move “a fatal and intolerable blow” to the UN Charter and multilateral system. The policy will accelerate the findings outlined in her report.

“The aim is to accelerate the erasure of Palestinian presence, including through unconscionable humanitarian consequences,” Ms. Albanese posted on Oct. 29.  “May this affront be the straw that breaks the camel’s back, and may it mark the beginning of the end of Israel’s impunity,” she added.

Time is running out

Entire families have been exterminated, generations erased, and babies left limbless before they could crawl. The terror Israel has unleashed on Palestinians post-October 7 is not happening in a vacuum, but is part of a long-term intentional.

Systematic and State-organized displacement, intended to “erase the Palestinians from their own land” and “allow Israel to fully annex Palestinian territory,” said Ms. Albanese, adding, “These plans are now expanding to Lebanon.”

Besides her report, other rights groups also concluded that Israel committed war crimes and crimes against humanity for extermination and demanded UN member states to “cease aiding or assisting” in the commission of violations.

Minister Farrakhan urged the same and he also exhorted nations to consider the time and the law of justice. No one is exempt nor escapes reaping what they have sown.

“To all of you who have signed the Geneva Convention on Genocide, you have to stand, because it’s them today; it’s the Ukrainians, it’s others under powerful rulers. But the God that I represent? He wants you to know that He is come to set all the rulers down,” said Minister Farrakhan. “He has come to take over the rule of America, of the world, as only God should do,” he said.
