ST. LOUIS—The National Assistant to the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, Student Minister Ishmael Muhammad, visited the city on September 14-15 and left a lasting but powerful impression on the believers and guests.
On September 14, Student Minister Ishmael was the special guest speaker at the 30th Annual Saviours’ Day Awards Banquet held at the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel.
He spoke before a sold-out crowd as those in attendance were cheering and standing for the important message that he delivered. One of his most noteworthy statements was, “Regardless of what party wins, the die is always set against us (Black people).”
Student Minister Ishmael was also the keynote speaker at Mosque No. 28 on September 15. His lecture was titled, “Hope & Guidance In A Time Of Trouble.” Student Minister Ishmael spoke on the Black vote and urged listeners not to settle on voting for the lesser of two evils. He said people would be better off writing in God or Jesus’ name.
He also spoke on the importance of brotherhood, male and female relationships and safeguarding one’s faith.
