Recent targeted assassinations by Israel of key political and military leaders of both Hamas and Hezbollah have accelerated tensions outside of the Zionist regime’s ongoing war in Gaza, into Lebanon and Iran.

Despite shuttle diplomacy by envoys bearing expressions of restraint, and the return of American, Egyptian, and Qatari mediators to ceasefire talks to stay the hand of “all-out” conflict in the Middle East, wider war remains imminent.

An August 16 announcement positive about ceasefire possibilities after two days of mediation talks in Doha, Qatar, was given. But notwithstanding, the platitudes about lowering the tensions, threats and wider conflict, Palestinian blood is still soaking the soil of Gaza, the Occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. The words and actions are highly duplicitous, say observers.

“The U.S. and Western hypocrisy is on full display,” said Muhammad Sankari, spokesman for the U.S. Palestinian Community Network (USPCN)-Chicago.

“The U.S. is doing and saying everything … like, we don’t want escalation, and we don’t want war,” he said.

However, the Chicago-based activist told The Final Call, it is duplicitous for America to verbally claim it desires peace, yet say nothing about the fact that Israel violated Iran’s sovereignty when they assassinated Ismael Haniyeh, Hamas’ political chief and top ceasefire negotiator. The killing happened July 31 in Iran’s capital Tehran.

The same applies to Lebanese sovereignty being repeatedly violated by Israel, Mr. Sankari said. “They specifically escalated against the resistance Hezbollah in Lebanon with the assassination of Fuad Shakur,” he said.

Mr. Shakur, a prominent military leader of Hezbollah, was killed hours before Mr. Haniyah in an Israeli airstrike on a south Beirut building. He was a highly targeted figure of Israel and America. In 2017, the U.S. Treasury offered $5 million for information on Mr. Shukr, describing him as “a senior adviser” to Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

“The U.S. has said absolutely nothing about the fact that the moment we’re in now is because of Israeli adventurism and provocations and violations of international law,” Mr. Sankari said.

Cross-border fighting with Hezbollah has intensified, and the U.S. and Israel are on high alert, bracing themselves for a promised retaliatory response by Iran against Israel over the aggression on its soil.

The Islamic Republic has cautioned both Israel and America—Israel’s no matter what ally—that Tehran is willing to tangle militarily with them, if necessary. Meanwhile, the U.S. has ramped up its military presence in the region’s waters.

Although, the mediators who came out of the ceasefire talks were optimistic about a clear path to a signed ceasefire agreement, there is still a strong possibility that war will not be averted in the region.

For Iran and the Lebanese resistance, Israel’s violations of their sovereignty with the assassinations on their soil is a separate matter from Gaza. “It’s not only about Gaza.

It’s about the violation of Iran’s sovereignty … Lebanese sovereignty … crossing of a red line that happened with the Lebanese resistance,” Mr. Sankari said. “One should not be surprised if regardless of what ends up happening, if there is some kind of deal reached, the Iranians and Lebanese Resistance say we are still going to respond.”

The consequences of a multinational war resulting from increased animosity and hostilities have been given over the years by the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and his National Representative, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam. As Divine Warners to America and the world, both men spoke on and warned of the prophesied War of Armageddon.

Observers and analysts have blamed a history of meddling by America and Israel as trouble sources of regional enmity. For years, Washington and Tel Aviv campaigned Gulf nations to join them in an anti-Tehran coalition of belligerents.

In his prophetic book, “Message to the Black Man in America,” the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad warned to “Beware of False Promises” from mischief-makers.

Meanwhile, the expanding fronts of tension are not sidetracking Israeli forces killing innocent Palestinian civilians dying in droves by American-made bombs and war ware.

The bloodthirst under the repeated explanation of eliminating Hamas has slain more than 40,000 Palestinians, including 16,000 children and upward of 10,000 people whose graves are the mangled concrete buildings destroyed by Israeli missile attacks.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, more than 92,000 people are maimed, and as of Aug. 14, the United Nations reported that 1.9 million Palestinians have been displaced. This is the reality of the war.

For now, the U.S. continues shoring up the Zionist state with more instruments of destruction and war.

The U.S. State Department approved weapons sales to Israel totaling roughly $20 billion on Aug. 13. Along with that is also an authorization for the sale of 50 F-15 fighter jets valued at more than $18.82 billion each, according to the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), that delivers the notification to Congress. The DSCA sent the notification of those sales to Congress on Aug. 13, a news release of the agency said.

The F-15 sale is believed to be the biggest weapons package for Israel and was announced alongside approved potential sales of medium tactical vehicles, medium-range air-to-air missiles, high-explosive mortar cartridges and tank cartridges.

The contradiction, Mr. Sankari said, proves America does not want peace and is complicit in Israel’s violations of international law. America could end the war almost immediately by pausing its support for Israel.

“The reality is this war would stop … in less than one day if the United States wanted it to stop,” Mr. Sankari said. “All they would have to do is stop rearming Israel.”

President Joeseph Biden has not exercised the leverage that America holds over Israel such as its vast financial and military aid. The fact the Biden administration has not done so is proof that peace is not what they want. In fact, it gives credence to the accusation that Washington is “aiding and abetting” Israel’s crimes, argue observers.

Minister Farrakhan had long cautioned America not to get lured into a war with Iran at the instigation of Israel.

As late as February 25 of this year in a Saviours’ Day message titled, “What Does Allah The Great Mahdi and The Great Messiah Have To Say About The War In The Middle East?” Minister Farrakhan warned that Israel and America will lose in the Middle East and pay a price for their actions and violations.

“What I gave is prophecy that you can find in the Bible and the Qur’an that Israel is not going to stay; America is not going to stay in the Middle East, and when that war triggers all of the countries that it will trigger, the war of Armageddon will be all over the earth,” said the Minister.

“China will be involved. Russia will be involved. Kim Jong Un of North Korea will be involved, and there’ll be no hiding place for anyone. Pray that God will keep you safe. Pray for the life of your children. They are young and beautiful, but they do not belong in the service of America,” he said.
