DETROIT—Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, like King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon in the Bible, is being given a heart of a beast and his kingdom is being weighed in the balance by Allah (God), the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan declared during his keynote Saviours’ Day 2024 address Feb. 25 at the Huntington Place convention center.
Mr. Netanyahu’s slaughter of more than 29,000 Palestinian lives—mostly women and children— in Gaza amounts to genocide, and is mostly being ignored by the world, he said.
Mr. Netanyahu knew in advance the planned Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israeli settlements but allowed it to happen to give him and his Israeli War Cabinet an excuse to annihilate the Palestinian people in Gaza, the Minister revealed. Those attacks resulted in the loss of some 1,200 Jewish lives.
That knowledge was revealed to the Minister over several days through revelations by Allah (God). One revelation came as an image of Mr. Netanyahu meeting with his War Cabinet; another was of the prime minister and several cabinet members toasting Israelis who lived along the Gaza border who were about to be killed in the attacks.
“They were toasting the innocence of Jews that on the 7th of October would be martyred. They were being martyred because he knew their (Hamas) plans and he used their plans to help Hamas do what it did … because he sanctioned it,” the Muslim leader declared.
Mr. Netanyahu had a second Nakba (catastrophe) in mind for the Palestinian people, he said. The first Nakba on the Palestinians was done in 1948 when Israel became a state. More than 700,000 Palestinians were exiled at that time and made “like vagabonds in the earth,” he said.
Mr. Netanyahu wanted to use pain of loss of Jewish lives to destroy the whole Palestinian community, not only in Gaza and the West Bank but also in East Jerusalem, he charged.
“It was a genocidal attack that he knew would preserve his place as a great Jewish leader,” Min. Farrakhan explained.
The bold leader expressed sympathy for families who lost loved ones in the Hamas attack. He expressed support for Tal Mitnick, an 18-year-old conscript to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) who refused to serve and was sentenced to a 30-day prison term. The Minister asked Allah to sear the young man’s image into his mind.
The Minister’s address of warning and condemnation was the highlight of the Saviours’ Day weekend. Saviours’ Day is a commemoration of the birth anniversary of Master Fard Muhammad, Allah (God) in Person, born on February 26, 1877, in the Holy City of Mecca. Master Fard Muhammad is the teacher of the Eternal Leader of the N.O.I., the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and He gave him the mission of resurrection of the dead Black man and woman of America. That mission started in Detroit.
Dressed in a gold suit with a gold fez, the Minister entered the convention center to a two-minute standing ovation and cheers of “Long Live Muhammad.” With a strong voice and broad smile, the 90-year-old leader bellowed, “As Salaam Alaikum,” to louder cheers.
The Minister noted the media had been asking “why is Farrakhan silent on the Gaza-Israeli war?” His answer: God and his teacher, the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, told him to be quiet.
“While I was being quiet, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad did something. I stand here today to say, ‘What does Allah the Great Mahdi and the Great Messiah have to say about the war in the Middle East?’ I couldn’t say that if I didn’t have contact with them to tell me what is going on. I know I will shake the world today when I tell you what they told me,” the Minister announced.
He applauded South Africa’s courage to bring a case of genocide against Israel in the Court of Justice in Geneva, Switzerland. He also said Israel thinks she’s strong because of her nuclear capacity.
“Who could do to another human being what is being done to our Palestinian family and not think of a humanitarian crisis?” Minister Farrakhan bemoaned. “Who will pay for the killing of Palestinians—men, women and children? Who will pay for the destruction of Palestinian life and culture? Netanyahu thinks like Pharoah, that he’s God and he talks to America like he’s God.”
Min. Farrakhan pleaded for Muslim nations to take a united stand against the genocide. He said Muslim nations and nations who have signed the Geneva Convention on Genocide must go beyond cheap talk and platitudes.
“From this rostrum, I am asking the Muslim world to stop fearing the consequence of standing. [Palestinians] don’t need platitudes. They need Muslims to unite and say to Israel what you should say and not be afraid of the consequences,” he said.
Israel sees billions of dollars of oil wealth under Gaza and want to build a canal larger than the Suez Canal and take advantage of that wealth, he said.
Mr. Netanyahu is a very feared man and makes American presidents and national officials appear to be subservient to him, Min. Farrakhan said. He noted that Netanyahu appeared to “be the boss” when he met U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. President (Joe) Biden needs to find some courage—“like the lion in ‘The Wiz’—and say to your friend, ‘I cannot back you in the slaughter and genocide,’” Min. Farrakhan said of the U.S. President.
Israel feels she can manipulate America because they don’t respect President Joe Biden or any American president in the last 40 years, he concluded.
As he outlined the massacre of Palestinians, Min. Farrakhan warned Black America to pay attention to what is happening in the Middle East. It is a sign of what would happen to Black people, and youth in particular, in the U.S., he said.
Holding a book titled “We Charge Genocide,” the Minister said it was taken to the United Nations in the 1950s by Black activists to charge America with the genocide of Black, Brown and Red people in this country. The UN accepted it but did nothing about it, he said.
The U.S. Government targeted Black America with a vaccine “and my voice was the voice that told you, don’t take it. They’re trying to kill us softly with a vaccine,” he recalled.
He recounted that four years ago during Saviours’ Day 2020 in Detroit, people began to get sick. As the pandemic spread, government officials promoted the vaccine, even offering “a jab for a joint. They tried to give you drugs,” he said.
“Here’s what you have to understand,” the Minister admonished, “Somebody stood up for you when you were ignorant and didn’t know how to stand up for yourself,” he said, adding medical professionals today are finding things wrong in the bloodstream of those who took the vaccine.
He held up another book titled “The Palestine Laboratory,” where the Jewish author describes what Israelis have done to Palestinians as “a laboratory,” using Palestinians to test weapons and surveillance technology. They’ve made the control of people into a business and in every country with dissatisfied citizens, they sell Israeli methodology to keep them under control, Min. Farrakhan said.
Whenever a strong Black leader emerges, the enemy raises another leader to counter the strong one and offer a more palatable option, Min. Farrakhan said. Marcus Garvey led the largest movement of Blacks in American history, and Whites raised men from the Talented 10th to be used against him, he noted.
America is in the grips of powerful interests that have seized control of the country’s monetary system and dictates much of its corporate agenda, Min. Farrakhan said. With the creation of the ADL (Anti-Defamation League) and the Federal Reserve in 1913, a group of Jews and Gentiles were in the position and possession of the right to print money. They took it away from Congress, he said.
As a result, the debt of the country has skyrocketed into the trillions of dollars and is indebted to the Federal Reserve, a private company, he said. The ADL, he added, acts as a watchdog who would attack anyone who reveals unspoken truths about the arrangement through charges such as labeling them anti-Semitic.
America in 1913 had no real debt, he said. But after the war (World War 1) America was borrowing from the Federal Reserve and paying interest on it. “It was a Jewish banker, Paul Warburg, who was the unquestioned architect of a plan to bring American finances under the control of a private central bank,” he said.
“The Federal Reserve system is privately owned and is as much a federal agency as Federal Express,” Min. Farrakhan pointed out. Neither is a government entity, he suggested.
“The country is insolvent and there is no way America can pay its debt,” he said. What keeps the country afloat is she has the most powerful military, he said.
The Anti-Defamation League, an organization that purports to be a friend and ally of Black America, spends money to train American police officers in Israel on “how to break you into pieces,” Min. Farrakhan said, referring to Freddie Gray, the 25-year-old Baltimore man who was killed as the result of a police beating and a rough ride in a paddy wagon.
The ADL also has been used to spy on Black organizations. The N.O.I. has filed a lawsuit charging the ADL and the Simon Wiesenthal Center with slander and violation of its first amendment rights.
“I’m now the number one anti-semite in America,” he said. “How did I get that distinction? It’s because of what I know and I’m not afraid to say it.
“Jesus said, you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. There is a truth so powerful once you hear it you will feel free.”
The meeting was opened with prayer by Student Minister Daniel Muhammad, who also explained the beginnings of the N.O.I. in Detroit. “[Master Fard Muhammad] gave us a new way of life. He introduced a new culture. He taught us Islam,” he said.
Saviours’ Day host Student Minister Troy Muhammad of Detroit’s Mosque No. 1 described the event as “a great supper.”
“Those who were too busy will miss a great supper absolutely prepared by God Himself coming through His representative, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan,” Min. Troy Muhammad said.
Student Minister Nuri Muhammad of Mosque No. 74 in Indianapolis described how Whites in power have continually tried to keep Black people divided.
“We are meeting today at a most critical time in the history of America and history of the world,” said Student Minister Ishmael Muhammad, National Assistant to Minister Farrakhan, as he introduced the Minister.
