TO THE FAMILY, AND FRIENDS OF VIOLA PLUMMER:

What can I say about the loss of my Sister and friend, Viola Plummer? Why did I love her the way I did, because, when I met her I met one of the strongest Black women I ever had the chance to meet. What gave her so much strength? It was her love for God, her love for truth, her love for her people, her love for that which is right.

She was hard on false men and women, she was hard on deceitful men and women, she was hard on those who were weak as leaders. Everyone who knew her felt that about her and saw it displayed whenever they acted other than right and she worked for good in the best interest of the rise of our people.

She fought well for Africa and the good ones in leadership in Africa. She fought well with those among us who would not compromise the desire of our people for total liberation from our enemies. She was one of those kinds of women that false men did not feel comfortable around.

I shall miss my Sister and I thank Almighty God Allah for sending her into this world.

May Allah’s Peace be with her beautiful family, and I pray that her grandchildren will grow up in the way of Grandma and they will be then in the path of Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman and all the great freedom fighters for our liberation. Knowing her enriched my life and all those who knew and loved her I am sure they feel the same way.

May Allah’s Peace be with her and all of those whom she leaves behind to continue the struggle.

I Am Your Brother and Servant,
