To commemorate the 28th anniversary of the Million Man March and Holy Day of Atonement, on October 16 of this year, around the country, Muslim followers of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad under the leadership of Minister Farrakhan participated in a nationwide “Day of Service.” The Fruit of Islam (F.O.I.) and M.G.T. and G.C.C. (Muslim Girls Training and General Civilization Class), who are the men and women of the Nation of Islam, distributed hot meals, clothing items, personal hygiene products, Final Call newspapers and more to residents in their respective communities.
