BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—In the spirit of the 28th Anniversary of the Million Man March and the Holy Day of Atonement, Muhammad Mosque No. 69 acquired through Mayor Randall Woodfin and the city government a Proclamation declaring in the City of Birmingham October 16th as the official “Day of Atonement.”
The presentation of the proclamation was done on October 10, before the city council in downtown Birmingham. —Submitted by Walter Umrani Muhammad
