CHICAGO—Every year, Muslim families can look forward to a full day of festivities, good food and music during the annual Family Fun Day, hosted by Mosque Maryam in Chicago. This year, the celebration took place on August 26 at Midway Plaisance Park on the city’s South Side.
As if a day of good “Muslim fun” wasn’t enough, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan made a brief appearance to share the moment. The Minister shook hands and greeted the people. The day ended with joy and a feeling of togetherness amongst the Believers.
