The Holy Month of Ramadan is a special time for Muslims around the world. During the 30-day observation, Muslims, fast, pray and use the time to reflect and renew their faith. Ramadan is also a time for increased acts of charity and kindness. Nearly two billion Muslims pack masjids and mosques for prayers, participate in the daily breaking of the fast during iftar, special programs and to spend more time with one another in an effort to develop family and community.
