IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE BENEFICENT, THE MERCIFUL.

As-Salaam Alaikum
(Peace Be Unto You)

On behalf of my wife, family, and the Nation of Islam, I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of my Brother and friend in the struggle for justice for our people, the late Randall Robinson.

Brother Randall is one of the most erudite and scholarly Brothers on the struggle of Black people and our cry for justice. His writings have become preferred reading for those who want to add up what America owes to Black people for our 460 years of suffering.

I personally have listened to a few of his lectures, and found him to be of the most brilliant, articulate, soulful and impactful speakers on the Black man’s condition, and on the subject of reparations.

I will miss him, but he lives beyond the power of death. The work that he has done, the words he has written and spoken lives, and will still have an impact on the struggle of our people for Justice, until what we seek of Justice has come to pass.

I spoke to his beloved wife, Hazel, and shared with her words of comfort. His home is a place that I visited on my visits to my mother’s birthplace of St. Kitts and Nevis in the West Indies.

When he left America so disappointed after his long years of service and hard work for us, he found a place of solace and refuge in the beautiful island of St. Kitts and it was there that I was blessed and fortunate to spend some time with him and his family.

I shall always honor his memory and proudly say, he was one of our strongest advocates for reparatory justice for our people. I fell in love with him as a companion in struggle and was deeply impressed with his integrity. He is among the few that are worthy of honor in this life and granted Paradise in the life to come.

May Allah’s Peace be with his precious daughter, Khalea, whom he loved so much and his dear wife who stood by him and encouraged him, and was a comfort to him throughout their days, months, and years together.

May the reward, that I believe he so richly deserves from Allah be given to his wife and family, and to his friends, and those who worked for and with him. And may his precious daughter be a blessing with her scholarship and brilliant mind for our people in America, in Africa, the Caribbean, and human beings who are suffering wherever they are found on our planet.

Your Brother and Servant,

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan
