Saviours’ Day, the annual convention and gathering of the Nation of Islam, draws thousands of people from around the U.S. and abroad and is symbolically and affectionately dubbed the “Crowning Event of Black History Month.” This year the weekend convention was held in person in Chicago, Feb. 24-26. One of the highlights of Saviours’ Day is always Mother Khadijah Farrakhan’s Children’s Village.

This year’s village was held at Gizmos Fun Factory on Feb. 25 and included hands-on workshops, face painting, arcade games, zip lining, bumper cars, Mother Khadijah Farrakhan’s Gift Center and much more. Children of all ages enjoyed a full day of fun in a safe, righteous environment courtesy of the Nation of Islam’s First Lady.

Mother Khadijah Farrakhan’s Children’s Village wowed youngsters once again. The annual event grew out of Mother Khadijah’s love for children and the Muslims. Children and their parents were able to enjoy games and activities.
