“This is of the announcements relating to the unseen (which) We reveal to thee, and thou was not with them when they resolved upon their affair, and they were devising plans. And most men believe not, though thou desirest it eagerly. And thou askest them no reward for it. It is nothing but a reminder for all mankind.” -Holy Qur’an, Surah 12 verses 102-104 (Muhammad Maulana Ali translation, seventh edition)
In December 1974, or early January 1975, while the Honorable Elijah Muhammad was yet in Mexico, he was coming out of a coma and asked me to close and lock the door, which separated him from a few persons who were at the scene. He shared with me the above words in the course of the conversation that I have quoted as the title of my article.
The idea of death never occurred to me concerning the person of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. I knew from his Teachings that his apparent illness would prove as a trial for those in whose hearts was a disease. He spoke to a few of his companions of his going away, but not of death.
As I quoted from a letter written by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad to Brother Jabril Muhammad, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad referred to the Book of Daniel that “in the night they came and they took the prey away, and in Isaiah, he makes mention not of death, but of a taking away and escape of the Messenger from a death plot against him, by the angels (smile). … “Again” it says he was taken away from the overspreading of wickedness and that which makes desolate.”
I remembered hearing some years later after the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s departure that rumors had spread concerning those instructions he gave to me after coming out of his coma, saying that I locked the door to keep others from coming near to the Messenger. This is totally void of truth, and cannot be substantiated by facts. Therefore, I am removing some of the errors in my testimony.
I am speaking about these hidden details of what I witnessed in the presence of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad because it is time to reveal those things that will sharpen our understanding of what took place in fulfillment of prophecy concerning the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. All of the above can be proven in no limit of time. This letter to Brother Jabril Muhammad was written in 1966, nine years before the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s departure.
Going back in time, it was after the Honorable Elijah Muhammad fell into another coma in which he took on the appearance of death that several family members flew into Mexico accompanied by his doctor. They came to prepare to take him to Chicago to be admitted to Mercy Hospital in the cold winter of January 1975. I was a witness, along with my children and a few others, of very unusual behavior surrounding the event that led to his hospitalization in Chicago and immediately thereafter, the knowledge of which I have yet to reveal within the context of my testimony.
We have reached the extended 70- year period of time revealed in Daniel’s prophecy where the Messiah is cut off in the 69th week of the time to be determined upon God’s people.
“Seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince, there shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times. And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, and till the end of the war desolations are determined.” (Daniel 9:24-26)
We will take note that many persons during this period of the Messiah being cut off, (meaning since the departure of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad), have had profound dreams, visions and other experiences which give credence to the fact that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad lives and escaped a death plot. Add to these experiences the letter quoted above, written by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and the vision-like experience of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan in 1985 in Mexico, and my own personal experiences, and we would have to consider more seriously his words to me, “They think I’m going to die.”
This should be nearly enough food for thought to explain to us that there are cosmic laws operating in the universe that are proving that consciousness is the will of the Divine Creator that can be awakened within us. Indeed, as the Honorable Elijah stated, thought never dies. It has a life of its own, independent of matter and we are the repositories. Telepathic projection or remote viewing will be granted to the righteous, that we may be able to tune in to the higher frequencies of thought and enter into heaven at once while we live.
“Say: This is my way: I call to Allah, with certain knowledge–I and those who follow me. And glory be to Allah! and I am not of the polytheists. And We sent not before thee any but men, from the people of the towns, to whom We sent revelation. Have they not travelled in the land and seen what was the end of those before them? And certainly the abode of the Hereafter is best for those who keep their duty. Do you not then understand?Until, when the messengers despaired and (the people) thought that they were told a lie, Our help came to them, and whom We pleased was delivered. And Our punishment is not averted from the guilty people.” –Holy Qur’an, Surah 12, verses 108-110 (Muhammad Maulana Ali translation, seventh edition)
To be continued.
