Human beings, whether they are good, evil or a mixture of both, need meaning. The way human beings arrive at meaning is through the making of interpretations, which yield meaning–whether correct, incorrect or a mixture of both. This occurs even on the cellular level, or on the subconscious level of human life.

People make interpretations all day long every day, one way or another, about a multitude of subjects, including themselves, each other, and everything else. Among the most important things human beings interpret are the Bible and the Holy Qur’an.

There is much that has been said and written about the scriptures. Among the most important thing said of both books is that both are from the One referred to as the Divine Supreme Being or the Almighty God. He is known by several names. Muslims refer to Him by the name, “Allah.”

Now, regardless of how superficial or how deep various Jews, Christians or Muslims may be, in the understanding of their faith, it’s a fact that generally Jews believe in the coming of the Messiah; Christians believe in the return of Jesus, who they also call the Messiah or the Christ; Muslims believe in the coming of the Mahdi and in Jesus’ return.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad met Him, Who was to come, under these and other names, including the Son of Man. It’s the position of us, who follow him under the leadership of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, that this whole vast and complex subject was thoroughly clarified for him by Him, Who was to come.

That which was left to be done was for Minister Farrakhan to do, with the backing of Master Fard Muhammad and the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. And he has all but done it.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said that, as he listened to Him, in September 1931, Who was going under the name Mr. W.D. Fard, passages in the Bible he had read many times kept coming to him. He said that what he heard tallied with what was written in the Bible. This, in brief, convinced him of the identity of the Speaker. This is what he said of his experience. But let’s not underestimate the depth of what he said just because it’s put so simply and brief.

As a verb, “tally” means “to agree, correspond, or come to the same amount, or to cause two or more things to agree.” As a noun “tally” means “something that corresponds to or is the counterpart of something else.”

As an indication of the weight he placed on His teacher’s interpretation of the scriptures, he said: “When you come into my presence, I have one ear on your mouth and the other on prophecy, to see where you fit.”

Many are so vain that they think they have that kind of perceptive power just because they think they do. Allah gave him that power, over time, because of the nature and scope of his mission, which many still don’t understand–despite the fantastic effort of Minister Farrakhan.

The Almighty perfectly an-ticipated what would be done with the scriptures that would be revealed to the prophets, whom He commissioned to work among the Caucasians, down to Isa (or Jesus) of 2,000 years ago. He knew perfectly well that they would tamper with the prophets’ teachings. He foreknew the content and structure into which His enemies (over time) would have reformed these books, according to their desires, and eventually make into one book, called “Bible.” So, He revealed the Holy Qur’an, in perfect anticipation of what the wicked would do to His words through His prophets.

The Holy Qur’an was revealed to correct the false concepts that the wicked mixed into the original scriptures brought by the prophets. It was to supply what was wickedly taken from the teachings of the prophets, while verifying the truth of the prophets’ teachings, in the book of their teachings called “Bible.”

Nevertheless, because the Holy Qur’an was revealed to Muhammad before Satan’s time ended, there were some things that Allah did not make clear, and would not do so, until the end of Satan’s time. The day of resurrection, in the fullest sense of the word, did not and could not happen in the days of Muhammad. The end of time is the day of the resurrection of the spiritually dead and the judgment of the world.

The resurrection of the dead began with the spiritual resurrection of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. He is the first begotten of us–the spiritually dead. The explosive truth of Jesus is the key to the resurrection of the dead.

Now, to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s words, (in Our Saviour Has Arrived) which will help us see into the way certain kinds of people reacted to his being chosen by Master Fard Muhammad. This is relevant to Minister Farrakhan’s identity and work.

He wrote: “Here come us, the American Black people, who were kept blind, deaf and dumb to the reading of the Bible for 300 years; arguing and disputing on the birth of Jesus, saying that Jesus was born on the 25th day of December.

“Whatever he has learned from his master (white race), he is willing to die on it (that it is the truth); while he does not even know the truth of himself. They take the Bible as it reads; they know not its meanings at all. And they will scorn the meanings of it by one of them whose meanings have been taught to him by God Almighty–that the scripture may be fulfilled; that He would send a teacher or preacher to us, the Lost and Found people; and raise him up from among us. Abraham and his son, Ishmael, according to the Qur’an, also prayed to Allah (God) that He might raise up an apostle from among the Lost-Found mentally dead people and to teach him the knowledge of the Book (Bible) and the Wisdom (Holy Qur’an) that he may teach others of his people the meanings of what they read out of the Bible and Qur’an.

“But what does this do to the rest of the people? It causes them to become jealous and envious of that one whom God confers more of His Divine knowledge upon than He does the rest. This is what is happening right at this very hour. The Holy Qur’an plainly teaches us that every one of us wanted the same thing that He gave the Messenger. That is the knowledge of the Book and the Wisdom of God and the Qur’an. It is prophesied that the Lost Found Black Man would envy the knowledge that God would bestow upon his servant–to teach them the knowledge of that which before they knew not.

“This is the American So-Called Negro. The Bible teaches that they all wanted to be shepherds therefore the sheep went astray. What a jealous and envious people the Black people are.” [Emphasis mine.]

But remember, he continued to emphasize that we were God’s choice to build the new world. (We’ll explain his categorical manner of speaking/writing later.)

Meanwhile, know that Minister Farrakhan suffers what his teacher before him suffered, who suffered as his Teacher suffered–and for the same basic causes.

More next issue, Allah willing.
