PHILADELPHIA—The Saviours’ Tour hit Philadelphia drawing FOI (Fruit of Islam), the men of the Nation of Islam, from all over Delaware Valley. Student Regional FOI Captain Anthony Muhammad said 35 brothers participated in the operation and approximately 1,000 Final Call newspapers were distributed in West Philadelphia at 52nd Street and Malcolm X Park and in North Philadelphia at 23rd and Diamond.
Brother Anthony reported that the brothers were well received by the community during the Aug. 20 push. This action is just one example of how FOI strive to be “little saviours” in their communities as they share the Teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad under the leadership of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. In some cities FOI have played an important role in mediating conflicts and providing relief in some of America’s most violent neighborhoods. Working to make their communities a clean and decent place to live is vital to an FOI’s work as taught by Min. Farrakhan.
