Isaiah and Allan both stated that they felt good about being recipients of the scholarships and were grateful. The graduation ceremony took place on July 14 at Mosque Maryam in Chicago.

Barney Muhammad, member of the Elite 50 Plus, stated, “The importance of this scholarship, is that these are the first of many scholarships in the future. The emphasis should be on the decree that the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan gave regarding having a scholarship foundation in commemoration of Brother Lieutenant Khalil Muhammad.”
