CHICAGO—Youth Day at the Nation of Islam’s National Center was again, a wonderful success. Sondra Muhammad and Parents United to Build a Future for Our Children hosted their annual Youth Day with the theme Stop the Violence, Increase the Peace. Young people of all ages attended.  

The daylong event on April 24, started with a strong and timely spiritual message delivered by Student Minister Ishmael Muhammad, National Assistant to the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

Shortly after the spiritual message was delivered, attendees went next door to the gymnasium of Muhammad University of Islam to participate in a talent showcase and other activities.

Since 2001, Parents United to Build a Future for Our Children has hosted Stop the Violence, Increase the Peace Youth Sundays, annually held at the National Center of the Nation of Islam at Mosque Maryam.
