CHICAGO—Members of the Nation of Islam (NOI), visitors and guests gathered in Chicago for Saviours’ Day which is the commemoration of the birth of Master W. Fard Muhammad, the great, divine teacher of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. The grounds of The National Center, headquarters of the NOI was buzzing on Friday and Saturday with people anxious to acquire their wristbands for the limited seating available for the Sunday, Feb. 27 keynote message by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, titled, “The Swan Song.”
For months, the excitement among the Nation brewed, as believers from across the country longed to be amongst one another. After two years of sheltering in place due to the coronavirus pandemic, Muslims from around the country were anxious to see and fellowship with one another again. Photos: Haroon Rajaee, Erick H.
