Dr. Safiyya Shabazz asked the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan a critical question via Twitter in 2013: “Why did [The Honorable Elijah Muhammad] want a hospital if the medical system as we know it will be destroyed? Are doctors useful in the Hereafter?”

Minister Farrakhan responded: “The Hon. Elijah Muhammad said to me: ‘This practice today of medicine is not a practice of ‘healing’, it’s a practice of drugs.’ … We are indeed, a very sick people. And the hospital, with our own doctors practicing the Art of Healing … using all of the methods that are useful in that process, both from the East & the West—would make us wonderful practitioners.

However, the Honorable Elijah said: ‘In The Hereafter, we will not need hospitals, insane asylums.’ Or anything of the kind! Because all our disease starts with rebellion against God, eating the wrong foods, and thinking the wrong thoughts.” #Ask Farrakhan

Recent conversations with Nation of Islam physicians Dr. Safiyya Shabazz and Dr. Darnita Muhammad, shed light on and bear witness to the Divine Wisdom expressed by Minister Farrakhan in the above response. Dr. Darnita Muhammad has successfully treated over 1,000 COVID-19 patients. She says she does not understand why a hospital would send someone home to get sicker instead of treating them when they come to the hospital to be treated.

Doctors who work in hospitals no longer have control of how their patients are treated. “Hospitals make more money giving certain medications for certain illnesses … They don’t want you there for just two days and you get better. Hospitals have an algorithm (set of instructions that must be followed). They now function on an algorithm.

So, when you come into a hospital, the doctor doesn’t decide ‘You have to take this medicine, it’s good and maybe we’ll tweak this.’ No, they are told exactly what treatments to give; I know (this is done) for COVID and I expect for everything.” She explained that in the past doctors “were able to cater therapies to the patients. It’s not one size fits all, like they’re doing Vaccines and Remdesivir.

Medicine doesn’t work like that. Medicine is just as much an art as it is a science.” But now the physicians have to operate under the dictates of “the rules and regulations of the hospital; the algorithms that are set and they are becoming more stringent. Most hospitals are on the same algorithm and protocol. It’s deep … They are all pushing people towards the vaccine as the only solution to COVID-19.”

Dr. Darnita Muhammad’s statements bear witness to what Minister Farrakhan repeated from the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad: “This practice today of medicine is not a practice of ‘healing’, it’s a practice of drugs.” Fortunately, in the Nation of Islam we have physicians who are not under the dictates of hospital algorithms, but are fulfilling their oath of healing their patients while “doing no harm.”

Dr. Safiyya Shabazz operates an independent clinic in Philadelphia where she practices the “Art of Healing” employing useful methods from “both the East & the West.” Since opening Fountain Medical Associates in 2010, she has been exploring different ways of delivering medical services to her patients. She is always striving to balance what she was taught in medical school at the University of Pennsylvania and what she has learned from her independent studies to incorporate more holistic approaches to serve patients’ needs.

She had considered telemedicine as a system of health delivery. Then, the COVID-19 “pandemic,” with the big lockdowns from March to June of 2020, forced her to deal with her patients remotely. She emphasizes a change in lifestyle to reduce the co-morbidities associated with COVID-19 deaths.

We know that the vast majority of those who contract COVID do not die from COVID. However, those with preconditions like heart disease, high blood pressure, obesity and diabetes experience the worst outcomes. These conditions can be controlled or eliminated by changing lifestyles and diet. Dr. Shabazz uses research from western science to persuade some resistant patients to practice fasting;

Because she has experienced a sad situation where some of our people are willing listen to White scientists rather than the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s God-given instructions of “How to Eat to Live”. Ironically, it is His Teachings that are the source for these western scientists’ recent acknowledgement of the benefits of fasting.

The major goal of both of these brilliant, dedicated physicians is to heal their patients without going to a hospital, where the doctors are not allowed to use their better judgement to treat patients, but are used as highly skilled slaves to a pharmaceutical drug dealing surgical cartel geared to make money and not heal patients.

The idea that doctors are told not to treat patients but send them home to get worse is genocidal. The hospitals have become the killing fields to the poor and the financial bloodsucking IV to drain the insurance and savings of the middle class.

COVID-19 has exposed the weak, wicked underbelly of America’s so-called healthcare system. Independent doctors and health practitioners are discovering and developing alternative methods to heal their patients outside of the large hospitals dominated by the pharmaceutical and insurance companies.

Groups like America’s Frontline Doctors, who bucked the hospital algorithms to properly service those struck by COVID-19, are NOW planning to set up a number of clinics across the country. The idea of telemedicine is now becoming an efficient way to treat patients at home and make hospitalization the very last resort.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad told Minister Farrakhan, “In The Hereafter, we will not need hospitals, insane asylums”. We do not follow a spook religion and we know there is a process we must take to reach the ultimate goal of living in a new reality. We are in a terrible condition due to our disobedience to God and the machinations of an evil Enemy whose time to rule is up.

A new style of old-fashioned doctors who love to be doctors and love to heal patients can take the best of the East and West, as the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad has told us, matched with modern technology, and be that “bridge over troubled waters” to get us on the other side of this biological warfare hell called COVID-19.
