CHICAGO—The Fruit of Islam (FOI) brought high spirits to the people on the city’s West Side July 3. With a Final Call newspaper in hand, warm smile and kind word as exemplified by their teacher the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, the FOI set the tone the day before July 4.
Celebrated as America’s Independence Day, July 4 also marks the coming of The Great Mahdi, Master Fard Muhammad in 1930 to deliver truth and light to the Black man and woman in North America.
In “Fall of America” by the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad regarding July 4 and the Coming of God, “For four hundred years we have been suffering under the pangs of servitude slavery and at the relentlessly merciless hands of the White slave master over us. Allah (God) came to give justice and freedom to us and to make us equal members in the society of the new powerful, strong, and wise people of the earth.”
The people were all smiles seeing the men that belong to the Nation of Islam in their communities. Whether residents were in cars or on the street, the FOI made sure to spread the good news that God in the person of Master Fard Muhammad had come to give us freedom, justice and equality.
