–An Eyewitness Account of Aspects of the Life of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad

“Beneficent God! A revelation from the Beneficent, the Merciful. A Book of which the verses are made plain, an Arabic Qur’an for a people who know—Good news and a warning. But most of them turn away, so they hear not.”–Holy Qur’an, Surah 41, verses 1-4

It was in the month of April, 1974, during the celebration of Easter, when the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad sent me to Mexico, to the city of Cuernavaca to prepare for his arrival and stay in his newly-purchased residence in that city. He had previously announced to some of his laborers and family members during a dinner setting in the Palace, in that same year, that he and his wife had to leave the country to take care of very important business. He also stated that he had others to teach that were not of our fold. These were the exact words spoken by Jesus to his disciples during the period leading up to his crucifixion. After Jesus’ purported crucifixion, he showed himself to the women, particularly to Mary Magdalene. She mistook him for the gardener and was instructed to return to the disciples and announce to them that he had risen. They were prepared to meet with Jesus in Galilee.

The disciples made mockery of Mary about his being alive and rejected her words because she was a woman. Current research has revealed that Mary Magdalene played a significant role in the life of Jesus. When the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad made this announcement to his laborers and family at the dinner hour, it stirred the emotions of many of his disciples at the table and gave rise to the Judas factor.

Envy and jealousy arose among them. This weakness to rise above emotion into the thinking of God was demonstrated among some of the members of his own household who opposed him and plotted to take his life. There are lessons in this for us to study today to avoid slandering the life of the Messenger of Allah in our midst.

The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad began to reveal to me some of the details of this plot while in Mexico and warned me to be ever watchful over those who serve me my food and water. He explicitly told me that the plot was not only against him, but it also included me. It is written in our 13 Paragraphs of early instructions to the Laborers, that such a plot was hatched with the ultimate objective of killing the Messenger. They charged that he was using the money he received to enrich himself and withholding help to the poor believing families. This group, identified as hypocrites, tried to stop all believers from giving to help support the Apostle and his household.

When the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad arrived in Cuernavaca during the Easter holiday week, the true Passion of Christ was underway in the life of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. He began to reveal to me, as in the history of Jesus, the names of some of those involved in the intrigue and advised me not to worry, but to take Refuge in Allah. According to the second paragraph of our early instructions to the Laborers, our Saviour, Master Fard Muhammad, challenges the enemy to do everything they could to oppose the Apostle, leaving not a stone unturned. It is further written that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s escape is recorded in the 34 Problems of the Problem Book if we could but understand.

In a discussion with Brother Jabril Muhammad, he stated that the 34 Problems represent years. If we take the number 34 and reverse it, we get the number 43. It was exactly 43 to 44 years that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad laid the Foundation of the first part of his Mission in the Resurrection of our mentally dead nation. The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s departure occurred in 1975. If we add 34 years (Problem Book) to 1975, we come to the year 2009. By adding 10 more years to 2009 (the reversal of 34 to 43 years) brings us to the year 2019.

We are living in the Final hours of this world’s Judgment and end with the concluding years being increasingly difficult for our survival. While the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad remained in the city of Cuernavaca for a short period of time, he was laying the foundation for the history that was yet to be fulfilled; and we are stepping into those roles that were written of us thousands of years ago. We are passing through our Final Examination before Almighty God, Allah. This year’s Easter celebration in April converged with many unusual celestial and terrestrial events corresponding to Jewish and Christian religious holidays.

On April 15th we experienced an unusual full moon and blood red lunar eclipse. This event occurred during the Easter week of the Jewish Passover. According to the Book of Exodus, the homes of the believing families of Moses and Aaron were marked with red blood of the sacrificial lamb. This mark would keep the death angel and the other plagues from entering into their households.

Might the first of this series of blood moon phenomenon herald a sign that the Death Angel is in the land? Another celestial phenomenon of note was visible in the conjunction of the Red Planet Mars aligned with the stars and the earth in alignment as if in Battle Array. Within days of this event, an unusual meteorite shower called the Lyrian (from the Constellation Lyra) flooded the night skies and was followed on April 21 through 24, by a sign of the cross configuration of the planet Uranus and Pluto (Platoon). On April 29th, the day of the publication of our Final Call newspaper, we are to experience a complete solar eclipse, which will be seen over America and the Western Hemisphere.

“And they say: Our hearts are under coverings from that to which thou callest us, and there is a deafness in our ears, and there is a veil between us and thee, so act, we too are acting. Say: I am only a mortal like you. It is revealed to me that your God is one God, so keep in the straight path to Him, and ask His protection. And woe to the polytheists! Who give not the poor-rate, and who are disbelievers in the Hereafter. Those who believe and do good, for them is surely a reward never to be cut off.”—Holy Qur’an, Surah 41, verses 5-8
