JABRIL.MUHAMMAD

[Editor’s note: This article was published in Vol. 15, No. 32 on Sept. 3, 1996.]

The principle underlying the methods by which individuals, persons, or a whole people, gain power, status, authority, and the like, with respect to others, are the same ones they use (with modifications), to maintain their position and gains.

This is so whether these principles and methods are true and good or false and evil.

The leadership of this wicked world began its rise to power through deceit, half-truths, treachery, intrigue, conspiracy, wicked scheming, conniving, evil machinations, pretense, pretext, decoys; in short, trickery of every sort. The key or root tool in their arsenal of evils, from the beginning of their history, was the evils of slander and libel. Evil from the mouth, and later from the pen, proved to be their most effective weapon in their rise to power and status and is at the root of their abundance of wealth. It still is.

It’s this kind of extreme wickedness, with which the rulers of this world have gained and maintained their power, that the Nation of Islam, led by the Honorable Min. Louis Farrakhan, is challenging in our $4,400,000,000 libel case against those who slandered/libeled Min. Farrakhan in their lie that he was involved in the murder of Malcolm X.

Relevant to all of the above is what I heard on radio on the afternoon of Friday, 7th day of April 1996, that “… 358 billionaires have a net worth equal to the combined annual income of the bottom 45 percent of humanity.” I only heard this part of the statement. I wanted to know who the female speaker was and what was her evidence for her statement. I was unable to tape the program, so I contacted Bro. Donald Muhammad in Washington, D.C., for the text of this interview, part of which comes below–for which I thank Allah for his help.

On the radio program titled, “All Things Considered” over National Public Radio, on April 7, 1996, Noah Adams interviewed Sis. Maureen Fielder, who, incidentally, is a Catholic.

She stated, in short, that the global economic system produces a “scandalous gap” between the rich and the poor and calls for a Good Friday meditation on economic injustice. (This won’t change most of the wicked rich, however.)

At the beginning of this interview, Noah Adams, the host of the program stated: “Today Western Christian churches commemorate the death of Jesus. Many of the Eastern Orthodox churches will do so next week. For Christians, the cross is a paradox, an emblem of suffering and pain, but also of selflessness and redemption. It symbolizes, for the believer, both death and life.”

Later in the interview, Sis. Maureen Fielder, commentated: “When I was young, I prayed a devotion called the Stations of the Cross. I walked around the church from station to station, retracing Jesus’ suffering journey to Calvary.

“I still make the stations of Good Friday, but not in a church. I join other people of faith and do it in the streets.” That’s because at least two-thirds of humanity walk the way of the cross in our own time and the stations in the street add flesh and bone to religious faith.

She spoke sympathetically of the poor. Then later, in the interview, she pointed to these “stations of the cross” as being “ … the Congress, the World Bank, the White House, the Federal Reserve and the International Monetary Fund,” which she said all have a part in producing this “… global economic system where the scandalous gap between the poorest and the wealthiest strata is growing even wider, where 358 billionaires have a net worth equal to the combined annual income of the bottom 45 percent of humanity.”

She pointed out that “resurrection for” the poor and the wretched of the earth “will come only when the world’s economic system is focused not on amassing wealth but on human well being.”

She continued that “Good Friday and ultimately, Easter, are not only about events of long ago and far away, they call us to act for injustice today.”

We now live in the reality or the fulfillment of what these holidays point in, as we travel with Farrakhan: The Traveler, as he continued inwardly and outwardly towards his Lord.

We have been told that 2,000 years ago Jesus told his followers: “You know that among the Gentiles those whom they recognize as rulers lord it over them, and their great ones are tyrants over them.”

But he said this must not be the case with his followers and those who would become followers later. He said, in Mark 10:42-45, “… whoever wishes to become great among you must be your servant … . For the Son of Man come not to be served but to serve and to give his life a ransom for many.” (The service of the “Son of Man” and His work of service is to be understood on more than one level as we’ll see.)

The history of the rulership of this wicked world shows that they have rejected Jesus’ instructions. They’ve used the same wicked principles and methods used by the father of this evil world, to get it started. They’ve used them without interruption, right down to this very moment.

We now live in a new time. God has come and is now present. His wisdom and guidance, first revealed to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, has been produced in the Honorable Louis Farrakhan, who represents a new kind of leadership.

As a result we now “ … speak wisdom … yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of the world, that come to naught: but we speak the wisdom of glory: which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would have crucified the Lord of glory.”

Now, would they be working to do the same to Minister Farrakhan? Nevertheless, to continue, 1 Corinthians 2:6-9:

“But as it is written, ‘Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God had prepared for them that love him.’ ”

The word “hidden” in the above passage comes from a Greek word transliterated “apokrupto,” which means “to hide” and/or also “concealing, keeping secret.” (This word is from two other Greek words, which deepens the meaning of the ultimate source of the use to this word.)

A study of these words show that a significant part of the meaning of “hidden,” in Greek, as it applies to the “wisdom” referred to in the above passage, is that the people to whom this wisdom is revealed, through “Jesus” once had it, but they were separated from it and separated from its source–God. The concealing of this wisdom involved God’s Self-concealing. The closet relationship between this wisdom and its source is strongly implied, in that revealing of one is the revealing of the other.

In the above passage (1 Corinthians 2:6-9) God ordained this particular wisdom. Since this wisdom was concealed by God, none could reveal it but Him, and there was a set time for Him to do so.

From the above, and in other such passages, it’s clear that this wisdom was a closely guarded secret, kept by God Himself, before this evil world began. Deeper, these words also refer to this wisdom as a secret, going back to the very beginnings of the creation of the universe.

The gospels teach that Jesus expressed joyous gratitude to God for blessing him and his followers with the secret wisdom, which the wisest of this world did not know. Paul (and others) bore witness to the same.

Now, since that wisdom was promised by God through His prophets, what was its contents? Was it that which Jesus (and those with him) taught? Do the Black pastors, who like Pharaoh’s magicians, are opposing the Honorable Louis Farrakhan, have that wisdom, which we’ve been made to believe God revealed 2,000 years before this world’s end?

They could not have that wisdom. The slave master did not know it. Therefore, they could not teach it to the pastors.

Since that wisdom was not to come until the end of this evil world, and the Black pastors received their commissions from the evil rulers of this world, they don’t have the power to free their people from slavery. However, this condition is changing, as they are in the process of fulfilling the prophecies that states that they will come to the modern Moses through the modern Aaron–the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honorable Louis Farrakhan.

The prophets of God are one in describing the time and circumstances in which God would reveal that wisdom. They are one in stating that the time when God reveals that wisdom is the same time when He beings to recreate all things.

The scriptures give us the impression that the Almighty revealed that wisdom 2,000 years ago? Who is responsible for this falsehood? The wickedly wise, with the use of the ignorant. This was their way of maintaining their way of rulership.

The truth is that nothing was taught 2,000 years ago which instituted a change so total that we can say, for instance, that the following passage in Isaiah 65:17 was fulfilled: “For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.”

Nothing was taught in the days of Jesus, which is that wisdom which no eyes have seen, no ears have ever heard, nor had it ever entered the heart of anyone to conceive of it before at any time since the self-creation of the first life in space. However, Minister Farrakhan, be it Allah’s will, is going where none but his teacher has gone, as it was written. Pray for him and pray for one another.

More next issue, Allah willing.
