Upset by demands for documents, witnesses to testify and a fast-moving impeachment process unfolding in the U.S. House of Representatives, the president of the United States declared the country could be headed toward a “civil war” if he is removed from power.

America has moved to another critical point, a potential point of explosion as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) urges Democrats to stick to a tight script tied to formal impeachment inquiries by six separate House committees, after a bombshell complaint by an administration insider was made public.

The government whistleblower–who has been identified as an intelligence official–has been labeled an enemy by President Trump, though whether the president knows the identity of the whistleblower is questionable. “[T]he President of the United States is using the power of his office to solicit interference from a foreign country in the 2020 U.S. election,” wrote the whistleblower in a summary of a July 25 phone call released by the White House. During the call, the president repeatedly pressed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to launch a corruption probe into Mr. Trump’s campaign rival Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.

The complaint details how the White House, fearing damage that could result from disclosure, attempted to “lock down” all records of Mr. Trump’s phone conversation by hiding the call transcript in a computer system reserved for super-secret intelligence information. That act, critics say, constitutes an attempted “cover up” of the president’s bad behavior.

A majority of sometimes skittish Democrats now back impeachment hearings, a few cracks are showing in unwavering GOP support for the president, and polls are showing Americans believe something important is happening in Washington.

“More than half of Americans–and an overwhelming number of Democrats–say they approve of the fact that Congress has opened an impeachment inquiry into President Trump. But as the inquiry begins, there is no national consensus on how to assess the president’s actions,” CBS News reported Sept. 30.

“Partisans have immediately and predictably split: most Democrats call the president’s handling of matters with Ukraine illegal, and deserving of impeachment. Most Republicans call his actions proper–or, even if improper, then still legal– and feel they’re an example of things that past presidents typically did, too. Most Americans think that because Congress is now taking up the matter, it will be unable to work on other issues.”

Can a house divided against itself stand and if Satan casts out Satan can his kingdom stand?

Donald J. Trump, the president who would be king, has undermined the pillars of American democracy, trashed the media, lied and lied again, and promoted and exploited divisions in the country. The Divider In Chief is driven by personal ambition, spiritual blindness and outrageous ego. And, while democracy has never been real for Black people in this country and never truly real for the masses of the people, a certain amount of operational dysfunction and discretion allowed America to stay cohesive enough to rule the world.

Has Humpty Dumpty’s day arrived? Once this egg splatters, it will take more than all the king’s horses and all the king’s men to put this back together again. The USA may never be able to come back. It may be entering a final stage of doom forecast by the Hon. Elijah Muhammad, who warned of the Fall of America, and by his servant, Min. Farrakhan who recently declared in Grand Rapids, Mich., that the day of evil doers is over. God is on scene to deliver justice and will not be mocked today.

America’s divisions and self-inflicted wounds are going deeper and deeper: “Trump on Monday was thundering through a new round of counter-punches against his opponents by hammering home the suggestion that they should be arrested and charged with treason and could launch a civil war–or a combination of those. His top foes were the whistleblower whose complaint launched the House’s impeachment investigation and the congressman leading it, Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff,” the Associated Press reported Sept. 30.

As part of a reputed 124-tweet storm over the weekend about impeachment proceedings, the president “tweeted a comment from the Rev. Robert Jeffress, pastor of the Southern Baptist megachurch First Baptist Dallas. ‘If the Democrats are successful in removing the president from office, it will cause a civil war-like fracture in this nation from which our country will never heal,’ Jeffress said on Sunday on Fox News Channel’s ‘Fox & Friends Weekend,’ which Trump posted a few hours later.”

Is this mighty America talking about the type of civil war she has loved to foment in Africa, Latin America and divisions that destroy nations? Mr. Trump is intentionally a polarizing figure who forces people to take sides. Then he appeals to the passion, pride and prejudice of his side and fans their hatred and disdain for the other side. There is no vision of shared national interest, only the complaints of an aggrieved White majority fed up with apologizing and not being able to act “mighty White.” They love their president’s unapologetic manner, his malicious mockery of any opposing person or idea while wrapping himself in the flag and the fantasies of those who see him making America great again.

But on the other side are those chafing at the rule, the despotic rule, of a crude, pathological liar who rejects the trappings of respectability, the rule of law and a system designed to maintain government checks and balances. Their passions and outrage are also inflamed, and they see the president as a clear and present danger to America’s way of life. They fear he will irreparably damage their country.

When these two opposing forces finally meet, there can only be a conflagration and it may be closer than you think. Fly to Allah (God), His Messenger and their Servant, having hope in this nation will only leave you to partake of her final divine destruction.
