I ended my last article with these words:

“Matthew 10:11-16 we find: “Whatever town or village you enter, search for some worthy person there and stay at his house until you leave. As you enter the home, give it your greeting. If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you. If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town.

“I tell you the truth, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town. I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore, be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.”

“In Mark 6:11 “And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, shake the dust off your feet when you leave, as a testimony against them.”

Now in Luke 9:5, we read: If people do not welcome you, shake the dust off your feet when you leave their town, as a testimony against them.” (NIV)

The Holy Qur’an contains these words: “… indeed We sent (messengers) to nations before thee. Then We seized them with distress and affliction that they might humble themselves. Yet why did they not, when Our punishment came to them, humble themselves? But their hearts hardened and the devil made all that they did seem fair to them. Then, when they neglected that with which they had been admonished, We opened for them the gates of all things; until, when they rejoice in that which they were given, We seized them suddenly; then lo! they were in utter despair. So the roots of the people who did wrong were cut off. And praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.” (6:42-45)

God seized America, and others, in the 1930s, that they might repent and become better. Has she become better? No!

Humility is an essential precondition for divine greatness, which is different for the preconditions for greatness in this world. Oh, how vital for growth into God it is not to misperceive humiliating experiences, and circumstances; even though they are never pleasant!

Consider the case of Ninevah. Jonah preached God’s truth to them. Although she was wicked, she heeded his warnings and she lived another two hundred years. She humbled herself and lived, for quite a while.

How did America, under then President Roosevelt, react to God and His way in the 1930s? How did America regard His whipping? As the Honorable Elijah Muhammad has taught, instead of humbling herself to God’s will, America came back with such moves as the National Recovery Act, out of false pride. Later she violated her own law by putting the man of God (the Honorable Elijah Muhammad), and many of his followers, in jail!

She reveled in false pride, and deluded herself into thinking that what Allah granted her was the ultimate work of her own hands. As quoted above Allah in His Qur’an states: “… we opened for them the gates of all things. …”

Look at the material progress America has made since the 1930’s when it seemed as though she was going under. Then it seemed, in her eyes, and in the eyes of those who became rich by doing business with her, that she had come out of it–His grip. And now look at where she is–on the verge of utter destruction and the loss of power to such extent that she will soon be a world power no more. And Allah continued, in His Holy Qur’an “… we seized them suddenly. …”

Does she see it this way? For the most part, no. She has mixed feelings about her fate.

Is there any way for her to be, somewhat, redeemed? Does anyone have good, sound, clear advice to give America that will help her, as Jonah helped Ninevah? Again, Ninevah’s time was extended. Why? She heard and heeded Jonah. Can she live as long like Ninevah did?

Has America been provided with a modern Jonah? I am among those who say: Yes! Everything I have written, from 1977 to the moment you read these words, has been an effort to bear witness to the distinct, lucid, unclouded, crystal-clear voice of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. Indeed, he is the voice of God.

Part of why God has arranged things as He has is that mighty, not almighty, but mighty America must bow to the wisdom of a Black man; to humble her.

America, do not take bowing or submitting to the wisdom of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad through his Minister, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, as disgrace! Take it as a blessing; for that is what he represents.

You think we are weak and defenseless. You are ignoring history: both ancient and recent. You don’t understand the principle: God’s strength is made perfect in weakness.

Remember, the book of Genesis, which contains pictures of a new beginning for Black people in America. It closes with the reconciliation of a powerful family, in the midst of a crisis; a famine. This is to say that a very rough time is coming on America if she refuses the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. So are Black people in for a very hard time. It will humble both the ex-slave master and the ex-slave.


How limitless is the wisdom of Allah! His wisdom–more than the stars of heaven–induces even greater awe and humility.

Let us now touch a little on the subject of tests and trials and something of their value. This will be helpful in enabling us to try to fathom the richness of God’s wisdom, especially in what may be called: divine paradoxes. This will be helpful as we think over the richness of the mission of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and as we consider the path on which he travels. Such a paradox is found in the statement put in the mouth of Paul, in which he cited the wisdom of God in these words, “… My strength is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Please, read with great care. How is God’s strength made perfect in weakness? Again, how is God’s strength made perfect in weakness? What exactly does this mean? Can this be explained in terms most everyone can understand? Can this be proven with truth? Can we find evidence that is so overwhelming that we are forced to admit it’s the truth? What does this have to do with the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan?

If we look long enough at the words of Jesus and Paul, in the New Testament, we see several places where each made clear that God Almighty had kept back certain knowledge of a very deep nature from the people of the earth. Each also made clear that God had revealed this particular knowledge to Jesus. He revealed much of it. There were parts, however, of what he revealed that was not clear to those to whom he taught. That was left to his followers to learn and make clear to the public.

Chief among those followers to make these things clear was Paul. He, like Jesus before him, used a word in referring to the body of knowledge God revealed through Jesus, which is generally translated “mystery”. On a few occasions he called it “mysteries.” Most of the newer translations use the word “secret” or “secrets”.
