The story of Genesis: Abraham’s Seed Found in Captivity in a Foreign Land (America) Serving over 400 years must now be Delivered!

[This article is being reprinted from Volume 28, No. 49 and The Final Call will continue to reprint articles written by our late and dear Mother Tynnetta Muhammad.]

“He said: My Lord, expand my breast for me: And ease my affair for me: And loose the knot from my tongue, (That) they may understand my word. And give to me an aider from my family: Aaron, my brother; Add to my strength by him, And make him share my task–So that we may glorify Thee much, And much remember Thee.” –Holy Qur’an, Surah 20, verses 25-34

In the previous article, we began tracing the history of Abraham and his descendants who would be found enslaved by strangers and taken by their captors to sojourn in a strange land. They would serve that nation for 400 years, then the prophesy reveals that the pronounced judgment of that nation whom they would serve was foretold. The enslaved people of God would be delivered directly by the hand of a Mighty God. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s writing in “Message to the Blackman” on page 38 states: “The prophesy 400 years of slavery-as to the time the so-called Negroes would serve white people ended in 1955. The so-called Negro must return to their own. The separation would be a blessing for both sides. It was the only solution, according to the Bible, for Israel and the Egyptians. It will prove to be the only solution for America and her slave.”

These biblical prophesies have been the hallmark of the Christian faith and belief that form the foundation of their theology concerning Israel and the Christian nations. Much has been taken out of context and has been tampered with our by “open enemies” regarding its true meaning and interpretation; but with a closer examination of these scriptural prophesies through the study of the Divine Teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad will throw great light on their many contradictions through faulty translations and interpretation. Not being Biblical Scholars, our people simply follow what the White theologians and preachers have taught us about Christianity and the Bible, even though as we may remember it was against the law for our fore- parents to even read the Bible up to the time of 300 years of our bondage in America.

Common sense would seem to tell us that we should be the first to question them on their biblical interpretation of scriptures. These interpretations of the scriptures came to us not from the original text but through the King James version. These are the very same people who enslaved our fore- parents who were members of the White race from Britain; and the slave trader was an Englishman named John Hawkins. We could not expect our former slave master to teach us the truth about Biblical prophesies when their entire world of domination and rule is based upon division and falsehood. We see that the prophesies spoken of in Genesis of our 400-year period of enslavement is definitely referring to our ancient people of Abraham’s ancestry who came before there were Jews or Arabs, Christianity, Judaism or Islam as practiced today.

The original people of Abraham was an Aboriginal Nation living in the Mesopotamia and summers along the banks of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. These original people were quite distinct from later generations that descended from the seed of Abraham into many tribes and nations that have come to populate the earth. Looking at the name, Abraham, we see the prefix ab meaning father or Aboriginal derived from the original nation. At the end of his name we have Ham, meaning Black. The full meaning should now be self-evident. Through three lines of descent and marriages arranged by God for Abraham was produced the Semitic races and people of the Near East who were settled in specific geographic locations throughout Asia. Ishmael, his first born, represents the genealogical tree of the Arab nation; and through his second born, Isaac, became the progenitor of the Jewish people.

Through a third wife, Keturah, (Genesis 25) came the people of other nations, among them the Midianites and other numerous nations. One of these three lines of descent from Abraham was made to dominate over the others for a specific period of time. The covenant made by God with Abraham from the seed of Isaac represents the tribes from his offspring known as Israel or the Israelites. How did this history come to be which is the source of great confusion in today’s world? The study of the true origin of people and tribes and nations is essential for all of us to understand how our present world civilizations have come to be. Such an in depth study is incomprehensible without a scientific base derived from the Divine Teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

What happened to us (so-called Negroes) that we have lost our prophetic site, vision and destiny? From the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s writing in Message to the Blackman, page 108 gives us the answer:

“The original Black man has been without the knowledge of himself for a long time and this one (the American so-called Negroes), of all of his kind, is the dumbest to the knowledge of self, due to the way his slave-master teaches and trains him.

“But this is the time of the awakening of this poor slave and no powers on earth or in the heavens above will be able to prevent it. For it is the will and work of Allah and His choice of the people.

“He has chosen the so-called Negroes, but they being blinded and made deaf and dumb, have not but a few chosen Allah to be their God; but they will, after they see more of His power displayed in the West–and they will see it. It is going on now. It is a must with Allah to restore the lost sheep.

The Black people are by nature the righteous. They have love and mercy in their hearts even after trying to live the life of the devils–this is still recognized in them. When they are fully in the knowledge of self, they will do righteousness and live in peace among themselves.”

“Go thou and thy brother with My messages and be not remiss in remembering Me. Go both of you to Pharaoh, surely he is inordinate; Then speak to him a gentle word, haply he may mind or fear. They said: Our Lord, we fear lest we hasten to do evil to us or be inordinate. He said: Fear not, surely I am with you–I do hear and see.” -Holy Qur’an, Surah 20, verses 42-46
