JABRIL.MUHAMMAD
“Many of us in this beautiful audience and in the world outside are separated one from another because of some trespass; either that we made against others, or that they made against us.
“And right now, maybe we’re holding something inside–a grudge against somebody. Maybe it’s mom; maybe it’s dad; maybe it’s sister, brother; maybe it’s husband or wife; maybe it’s the rulers of the present world; maybe it’s somebody that we feel did us wrong. Have you noticed that the things that people do to us that are evil: they stick.
“The things that people do to us for good, we can hardly remember because–that’s a sign. That’s a sign that your nature is good and evil is an aberration.
“So evil just stays with you. So you can remember everything that somebody did to hurt you. Is that right? You can remember, sometimes, words that are said that go inside and shatter–you’ll remember.
“You know Jesus said, ‘It’s not what goes in that defiled the man. It’s what comes out.’ I wonder how do you understand that?
“The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said to us that in life there are circumstances, and God–either by His active will or by his permissive will–allows things to happen in our lives, to bring out of us what is within.
“So somebody does some evil to you. It ain’t what goes in–but how do you respond? It is not what they do that defiles us. It is how we respond to what is done to us that defiles us.
“So the evil that people do to us that we don’t handle well, sets up blockages. It is the blood that has to circulate through the body to give it life; but when there are blockages in the veins and the blood can’t get through, then the blockages have to be removed, or they bring about the death of the organism.
“When people do you wrong, you set up in your mind dislike, hatred. This is disease and it presents an impediment that does not allow us to keep on our journey to God.
“I wonder do you understand?
“Of course, you do.”
The reaction to him (the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan) was a thundering and long applause. I hope you will get that tape. He spoke in Chicago, and in a church in Los Angeles, California!”
And I hope you will study the words that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us that “speaking” came before “writing” on this earth. Therefore Minister Farrakhan was speaking from both books–Bible and Holy Qur’an.
I learned about speaking and writing from the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.
On the back of: “Is It Possible That The Honorable Elijah Muhammad Is Still Physically Alive ???” you can read:
“On the morning of June 17, 2002 I received a phone call from Sister Andrea Muhammad of Muhammad Mosque #12, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the effect that she received a letter from Minister Rodney Muhammad (of that same Mosque) for me.
“It was the letter I referred to on page 114 of the eighth chapter of this book that was written to me by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad in November 1966.
“I had it when I published this book in 1983 and in 1990. It did not occur to me to mention nor include it in those printings.
“However, I did not have this letter at the time this book was published in 2001. If I did I would have published it in that printing which was about double the size of the previous two.
“If you notice I did not mention, in that chapter, whether or not this letter came up in what he told me of his future escape from a death plot. The letter was not on my mind at the time of our discussion, which developed, for me, quite unexpectedly. Nevertheless, I was and am grateful to Allah and to him for what he did tell me.
“I am very thankful to Allah for blessing me that day with that letter. I hope you share this gratitude. And, perhaps this letter will stimulate deeper thought over the future of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

Also on the back cover you can read these words.
“P.S.
“On June 5, 2006 I interviewed the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan on a number of topics. One of them was what he thought about my idea of placing the letter that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad sent to me back in November 1966, in this book.
“Here was his response.
“ ‘There is no witness stronger than his own witness of what he knew would come to him, except Allah. He told you in the letter that he would escape a death plot. He gave several instances of scripture that confirmed that.
“ ‘So our saying he’s alive is strengthened by his words and he confirms what we’ve been saying that he is alive in the face of those who say: ‘Well the Honorable Elijah Muhammad never said nothing like that’ or ‘I never heard nothing like that’ or ‘I don’t believe the Honorable Elijah Muhammad is alive.’
“ ‘Well here’s a letter that he wrote at such and such a time in a certain context. And he bears witness that he would be taken on the heel of a death plot. Then, in connection with this death plot, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad told you that, ‘If Allah had not shown me how I was going to escape, I would have no hope.’ ”

“The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, in Chicago, Illinois on February 22, 1981 announced to about three thousand people that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad was alive. Later; in The Final Call, in 1984, he wrote:
“I, Louis Farrakhan, am saying to the world that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad is not physically dead. I am further stating that he was made to appear as such as written in the Bible and in the Holy Qur’an, in order that the scriptures might be fulfilled.”
More next issue, Allah willing, and my reasons for this article and the connection with this photo of Minister Farrakhan in this article.
