When I read this article, I changed my article, my mind.
The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan in Volume 32 Number 33 the front cover reads: “The Priceless Value of Mother.” The center piece of this same newspaper you can read in part some of what he spoke in the broadcast; “The Time and What Must Be Done Part 18.”
In part we can read:
›“In the Holy Qur’an, Surah 2 Al-Baqarah (“The Cow”), verse 42, it is taught to the members of ‘The Children of Israel,’ or the Jewish community: ‘Mix not up truth with falsehood, nor hide the truth while you know’; and throughout the Qur’an they are being asked to ‘remember the Favor of God to you,’ that He sent you many prophets, many sages, to give you guidance more than He gave to any other people in the last 6,000 years.
“So how you use the energy of the truth that you have been given will either put you on the Side of God, or mark you as ‘Satan,’ ‘the Devil,’ in human form.
“Truth must be spoken today … And that one on whom the mission is to ‘make Satan known’: He must deliver the message, and fear not the consequences of delivering the message, for surely the Qur’an says: ‘Allah will protect you from men.’
“And since the Honorable Elijah Muhammad–that great messianic figure who is now the Exalted Christ: Since he made known, partially, ‘the identity of a made man,’ now most of that revelation must go all the way to ‘Satan’ himself!
“So the Honorable Elijah Muhammad told me before he left: ‘Brother, I don’t want you using the term ‘devil’. I want you to use the language ‘Satan,’ ‘The Enemy’ and ‘the slave master’s children.’
“I didn’t know at that time why he told me to use such words. But Allah, through His Messiah, has gently led me to the task that is before me and us today.
“The truth necessary to expose the characteristics of this ‘man of sin.’
“Is ‘Satan’ real? Is ‘Satan’ just ‘spirit’? Or is ‘Satan’ a man with a nature of evil, and an energy of spirit that directs his hatred and malevolence, his mischief-making and lying, to take the earth down with him as he now knows that his time is very, very short?
“Please study the book of 2 Thessalonians, Chapter 2. In verse 3, the scripture teaches: ‘Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition …’
“Notice the scripture didn’t say “spirit” of sin; it said man of sin. Here it is telling us some of the characteristics of this Satanic human being. In verse 4, it describes him as one: ‘Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God, sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.’
“What ‘madness’ is this that this wicked son of perdition would see himself as ‘God’? And then come to the world as though he is ‘God,’ and try to force every knee to bow to him? Remember those characteristics as we go further in our study.
“And in the 8th verse, it states: ‘And then shall that wicked one be revealed whom the Lord will consume with the Spirit of His Mouth, and shall destroy with the Brightness of His Coming.’
“ ‘Revealed’ means that Satan is ‘covered up.’ The Bible also teaches in 2 Corinthians, Chapter 11 that Satan is so clever that he can masquerade and come to the people as an ‘angel of light.’
“Satan knows ‘good’ and he knows ‘evil’; so he uses ‘good’ to trick and trap the righteous, and then lead them into ‘evil’–and then make evil fair-seeming to them! What a skillful enemy of God: The man of Sin.
“Why does the truth have to be told? Do you remember in the Book of Job, Chapter 1: The sons of God came to present themselves before God, and Satan came also with them? They were walking with Satan–‘The sons of God’–and didn’t know they were, pardon the expression, ‘hanging out with Satan.’
“And when they got in the Presence of God, He knew Satan right off and said, ‘Whence cometh thou, Satan?’ I’m sure the sons of God were shocked! Then Satan spoke up: ‘I come from walking up and down, to and fro, in the Earth, seeking whom I may devour.’
“Let’s look at the image of ‘up and down,’ ‘to and fro’:
“Is that accidentally the sign of ‘the cross,’ the duality in the nature of man? Is it possible that you who think that you are following ‘Jesus Christ’ have been eaten up by Satan, and instead of being a part of ‘the body of Christ’ by our actions, we are literally devoured into the body of Satan?
“So the only way that you can be set free is that God will consume the wicked with, ‘The Spirit of His Mouth’ on ‘The Brightness of His Coming’! If we are ‘revealing Satan,’ that tells you God is Present! If we are revealing ‘Satan,’ then that means that when you have the knowledge of this wicked, evil one posing as ‘God’: The Knowledge of him will separate you from him, and produce what is called ‘a falling away.’
“Satan does not want you to ‘fall away’ from him. He wants to keep you with him! So the truth is what must be told, because it is time … It’s time that you should know the truth that Jesus prophesied: ‘You shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’
“Well, that truth now is in the world! That truth will ‘set you free’ from Satan, his deception; expose his lies and deceit, and the evil that he has led us into that has made evil ‘fair-seeming’ to us! That when we ‘fall away from Satan,’ we can fall away from the evil that Satan has guided the righteous into performing, thinking that they are ‘doing the right thing.’
“ ‘Truth’ is the greatest life-giving, life-saving, life-advancing essence. ‘Truth’ is the most important and greatest possession that any human being could have, for ‘truth’ is the root of everything that we see, hear, smell, taste, and, touch and feel. This ‘truth’: That you came into the world from the darkness of our mother’s wombs into ‘The Great Book of God’–which is nothing but the truth.
“Allah (God) says in the Holy Qur’an that in everything that He created there is ‘a lesson’ for man, if man would be mindful. So when you think on God’s Truth: This is what we must feed on if we are to grow into the purpose of our existence! The life that we have been given is important, but not ‘more important’ than the truth which is the very essence of life itself.
“Most men and nations say, ‘We will give our life for liberty and justice, and equity’; and in American history, it was Patrick Henry (one of America’s ‘Founding Fathers’) who said: ‘Give us liberty, or give me death,’ meaning he loved ‘liberty’ more than life. Well, Mr. Henry, you spoke well. But let’s take it up ‘a notch’: 1) There cannot be ‘liberty’ without truth; and 2) There cannot be ‘justice’ and ‘equity’ without truth.
“So every human being that knows the truth should stand up on that truth regardless of the consequences of standing on that truth! Live for the truth, and die on behalf of the truth! Because if we do that–giving and living our lives for truth: This is the greatest act of service that we can do! And is why Jesus said, ‘You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.’
