JABRIL.MUHAMMAD

“… my brother, Aaron, he is more eloquent in speech than I, so send him with me as a helper to confirm me. He said: … We will give you both an authority, so that they shall not reach you. With Our signs, you two and those who follow you will triumph.”
Holy Qur’an 28:34, 35

I’m writing so the readers could see/read my reason/purpose for writing this article. This involves all of my articles. I’m reacting to Sister Kelmer Muhammad’s words, and others who would read her words and my reaction to her words and my purpose for writing it in The Final Call, since I started writing many years ago.

I must write this now because all Believers on some level, must go though accepting the truth 100 percent that came from Allah, in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, when He departed and left the U.S.A. and put this truth in the mind and heart of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad told me that he had tough experiences that he had to go through with the Black people and some White persons. This he had to go through, in order to redeem us. He went though it all–all of it–before he left the U.S.A. in 1975.

Later, he went through this to show examples to the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan of what he must go through to redeem us here in America and elsewhere.

This involves more words that I can state here in this short article, but I will mention some in the next article, Allah willing.

Redeem means: “compensate for the faults or bad aspects of (something); (redeem oneself) do something that compensates for poor past performance or behavior; (of a person) atone or make amends for (error or evil); save (someone) from sin, error, or evil; gain or regain possession of (something) in exchange for payment; pay the necessary money to clear (a debt); exchange (paper money) for gold or silver; fulfill or carry out (a pledge or promise); archaic buy the freedom of.”

I did not know of Sister Kelmer’s purpose for meeting us when we met with her. She did not know of the 4th edition of the book Is It Possible That The Honorable Elijah Muhammad Is Still Physically Alive??? This fourth edition was done, right after the completion of Closing The Gap and was put before the public in February 2007.

Both books came out and a week later I was hospitalized.

She shared the following words to me during our meeting:

“As I read Closing the Gap for the second time, I find myself thanking Allah for allowing me to see the inner-being of two great teachers: the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and Minister Farrakhan.

“This book allows you to experience and imagine being in the seat of the Honorable Louis Farrakhan. As I read the intricate and emotional stages of becoming Farrakhan, I realized that there was no way I could have ever taken the trials and test the Honorable Elijah Muhammad put his student through.

“It brought tears to my eyes and a lump in my chest when I read how our Leader put our Brother through trial after trial after trial. Imagine the person who you love and honor beating up on a family member of yours, and making mockery of the way they speak.

“After reading Closing the Gap, I understood why the Minister was Elected and Selected to sit in the seat of our Father, the most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. Unless you are a woman going through childbirth, there is no way any of us could endure such pain and trauma the Messenger of God put the Minister through. Closing the Gap reveals the Inner Being of a Servant of Allah.

“I would like to thank Brother Jabril Muhammad and all those who helped in the birth of this soft cover book. The softness of this book allowed me to understand and see the feminine side of my teacher and my Minister.

“This feminine book helped me to understand why The Minister was chosen to sit in the seat in the absence of our Leader, Teacher and Guide, the most Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

“As a Muslim, I don’t celebrate Christmas but when I received Brother Jabril Muhammad’s book, ‘Is it Possible that The Honorable Elijah Muhammad is still Physically Alive???’ (4th edition) as a gift, I felt like that child in the Christmas movie called “Miracle on 34th Street.”

“The 106 page book is filled with pictures and letters written by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. At this moment in my life, to become One with Allah, as a Believer and Follower of these two Great Men of Allah, I am learning to immerse myself into a higher thinking of two great minds.

“All Praise is Due to Allah!”

In one of my previous articles I wrote:

“I’m also asking you this question. How do you make the best photograph without seeing it, in context, in the best manner? You best do this by using both your mind and your physical eye.

“When you make photographs you cannot make the best photo and really see it without the proper perception of the eye, which gives us the power of sight, which involves the brain. (There is more.)

“When this newspaper, The Final Call, comes out the election of the U.S.A. will be done. People have, are and will react to it on all levels. All of this was prophesied and what will come of it and after it.”

Sister Kelmer Muhammad continued: “I would like to thank Brother Jabril Muhammad and all those who helped in the birth of this soft cover book. The softness of this book allowed me to understand and see the feminine side of my teacher and my Minister.”

If you have that book or want to get it you should know some of the “history” of that book. It took two years to find a book that resembled what I had in my mind. I must continue with this book’s history next article because it may require too many paragraphs to make this clear and this is not a book, but a short article.

I had a vision that caused me to contact two Brothers to help me to begin the process of forming Closing The Gap. Section 10 of that book started and ended that book.

In the book Closing The Gap, you can read:

“On December 4, 2004, I asked the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan: ‘By the time you came into the Nation of Islam in 1955, you were already acquainted with the importance, the value and the use of such tools as dictionaries, thesauruses, synonym and antonym books. How did you first use them, even up to the present time?”

Minister Farrakhan: Being a student of Latin, you become knowledgeable of suffixes and prefixes. And you become knowledgeable of the root of a word; how the word evolves; what is the origin of that word in terms of its origin? Where did it come from?

You learn that most English words evolved from either Latin or Greek. The romance languages are French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and they come out of Latin.

Latin is considered a dead language, but as the Qur’an says, “He brings the living from the dead and the dead from the living.”

So if you don’t know something of the dead language, you are missing the understanding of the living languages that are being used today by a great number of people on the planet.

Naturally, the meanings of words, and their shades of meaning are very, very important in developing our communicative skills.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad one day told me of Clarence Darrow and President Woodrow Wilson, and he said, “The degree of knowledge that they had of the English language was profound.” He said, “… that’s why Clarence Darrow never lost a case.”

When he told me that, even though I was a baby in English to him in terms of his depth of understanding of the language, he was telling me that when you master words and the various shades of meaning of words, you can take one word and use it as a weapon of offense and you can take the same word with another shade of meaning and use it as a weapon of defense.

That is why I believe the Saviour, Master Fard Muhammad said in The Problem Book, “You will not be successful unless you learn to speak the language well.” The entanglement of the people is an entanglement of words, and how they perceive the meaning of those words.

So the freedom of people is the untangling of their understanding or perception of meaning and giving them a new and better meaning of a word that they think they know or understand. That goes back to the Qur’an in Surah 20 when he said, “Loosen the knot from my tongue that they may understand my speech”

The word of God that came to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad was a word that was designed to fit the condition of our minds at that time but a deeper study of that same word, would disentangle us from a limited understanding of what we thought we understood when we first heard that word.

Now, does the above involve my reaction to Sister Kelmer Muhammad’s words? Yes!

More next issue, Allah willing.
